@__@ And with that, this is now a competition between two good songs that I feel should've lost to even better ones, before.

1) Super Mario Sunshine - Delfino Plaza

For the record, Dark World is a great song, but the quadrant it was in was absolutely Beast. I would have preferred to see 600 A.D. here. Delfino Plaza is great, too, but it was in a Quadrant with field, which was absolutely amazing and a half with Spirit Tracks, which was super catchy. In the end, I just felt that Delfino Plaza seems to fit the visuals better than Dark World, but these two are close, for me.

Both are very good tracks, but I think Delfino Plaza sets the mood and really meshes with the environment perfectly.

1) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - Dark World

The Dark World song is eternal, and those chords are SO, so good. It's like...lighthearted darkness. And it perfectly fits the moment of appearing at the top of the pyramid, and not knowing where you are.

Delfino Plaza is great too, but I think Rosalina's Comet Observatory 3 is the Mario Hub World champion.

First game I have ever owned. It holds a very special place in my heart as gamer because of this. Also, I have heard it literally hundreds of times and it has never become stale or repetitive. When something like that happens, you know it is a good hub world theme. Yes, I am breaking my rule, nostalgia is a big factor but I think there could be just as much if not more nostalgia driven votes for Dark World as well. That being said, I choose my favorite nostalgia.

For some reason I just find the other track repetitive and annoying.

If the Dark World theme was the Link Between Worlds version, I would've voted for that.

Sorry the update schedule has been so inconsistent these past couple weeks. If you have any ideas for what tournament we should do next, leave them below. Just a heads up, there are a few changes I'm thinking about making to the whole system but we'll go over that on Monday. For now, I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Run themes. These are songs that play when you want to finish a level quickly, be it by death behind you or prizes ahead. Any theme that plays when you feel like you have to run will do.
