@Princess_Lilly I accidentally found that game on KH Insider while I was looking for songs to add to my "Asian inspired" playlist (like the Mulan world in "Kingdom Hearts 2" and most of the second part of "Paper Mario: The Origami King") and I looked up "kitsune".
I find it stupid that people claim to only celebrate their birthday once every 4 years if they were born on February 29, our bodies still age the same rate.
Good morning.
Today is 1 March 2024 here.
Did you know if March was used to be the first month long time ago?
That was because January and February were supposed to be the 11th and 12th month until it changed to 1st and 2nd as January was based on Janus name and it was very important Roman god and should be placed on the 1st place.

My great-uncle was a leap year baby and we just celebrated his birthday on February 28th on non leap year years.

Most people only mean the leap year birthday thing as nothing more than a joke. As Tasuki mentions, the normal thing is to celebrate on either the 28th or the 1st on non-leap years.

My mother was born on leap year and we celebrate every year. On March 1st on non leap years since she was born close to midnight. She has a true age and her "leap age". I've teased her by saying she's been driving illegally for years. XD We also don't really celebrate it on the 28th (yesterday) since it's my dad's birthday. They were born in different years though.
@MarioLover92 No worries. Life hits us all at one point or another. I like most forms of cake, even if it doesn't typically qualify as actual cake (like cheesecake or ice cream cake from DQ). That chocolate cake sounds really good! I like chocolate cake too unless the cocoa flavor is very strong. Both my parents celebrate birthdays this week, so maybe I'll get some this evening?
Which boss are you stuck at in MP1? I haven't played the remastered version yet, but I did play through Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii U (via Wii Mode) over the span of a year several years back. I hope you're enjoying Side Order. The Splatoon series really isn't my thing, but the gameplay does look enjoyable.
Many Disney movies are indeed adaptations of classic stories, though very loosely so in many cases. The original Cinderella is quite violent for example. Others like Frozen take the source material and run away with it fully.
Fievel Goes West isn't quite as good as the original movie, but it's still very entertaining and brings back several characters. Including one of my favorite VAs from that time period, Dom DeLuise. Glad that you enjoyed that video clip, and I'm very happy you finally watched the animated version of Mulan! Amazing movie with plenty of decent songs and Mushu sass. XD
@Tyranexx ooh my parents also have birthdays on consecutive days (In October though). And they also got married basically within their birthday “week”.
They save a lot of money on parties.
I often joke that they should’ve planed out my brother and I’s birthdays on that same space to have the anniversary royal flush.
@Eel The birthday thing was one of those coincidences, but having their anniversary close to them too? That's a heck of a money and memory saver too! None of our other birthdays come close, though my sister and BIL's birthdays are within two days of each other (in January). With immediate family birthdays, my nephew's is now next, in August.
