@Anti-Matter let go of your guilt, the product is yours to enjoy no matter how scummy the people behind it are, I still listen to Lost Prophets.
There is no balance, nothing matters and the sun is going to explode. So have fun (it's supposed to be uplifting, if it does not uplift you, ignore the sentence)

Had a good week this week. Took a trip to the store with my friend, and did an errand this week and treated myself to some Trolls Mineez on both days. Got Poppy, Satin, Tiny, Guy, Crimp, and King Gristle. They're really cute, I like them.
@Tyranexx I've seen the First 4 Figures Sonic stuff only wishing I could have it. At one point, Funko did more than just Pops. They had, at least for My Little Pony, really detailed figures of the characters, and smaller "Power Ponies" figures, and they were nice and stylized differently than their Pops line.
Amiibos are always great, actually, I was fortunate buying the Rosalina Smash one. Talk about luck, I did an errand and saw one left and bought it. Will admit, I dislike how they only save one progress at a time, actually have three Sonics thanks to that restriction. I liked them, they were like mini Smash trophies.
@Princess_Lilly At the time of typing that, all of them since I was playing with my friend online and we were trying characters. I found myself going back to play as Orchid. Did beat the game on two-star difficulty. I'm casual with fighting games, so I usually play on lower difficulty settings.
Timing was perfect as I've been playing Mortal Kombat II on PC, and Mortal Kombat 11 on Switch. Been playing some fighting games lately.
@Eel Surprisingly she is. I was surprised too. It's like the Mineez are going for a cutesy style that's different than what you'd see in the movie. I like it.
I got some of them for Christmas via the advent calendar, but I haven't seen how they did Crimp and King Gristle until the other day.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy yeah fighting games are kinda hardcore, you need a lot of practice to even start playing on a decent level. Mortal Kombat is kinda easy I guess? But I was always more of a Tekken person, and later a Smash person

@Princess_Lilly Indeed, I usually just play them with friends or lowering the difficulty. Wouldn't say Mortal Kombat is easy. Try the arcade version of Mortal Kombat II, the CPU reads your button inputs and is really, really hard. After all, the game was designed to suck up quarters.
I play the GOG version of Mortal Kombat II, where the difficulty settings actually work. Easy is easy, medium is medium, and so on. I do have the arcade version on Steam (before it got delisted) and Midway Arcade Treasures 2 on GameCube.

I played again 5 panels dance machine Infinity series this afternoon and I don't want to have guilty feeling again after played that machine since I still have way more love with DDR than 5 panels dance machine. 😞
Not gonna lie, I like the songs from DM Ashura, Sanxxion7, Hanna Stockzell (she was also featured on DDR PS3), etc as they are Western artists but still I have a guilty feeling because I don't want to support the company of 5 panels dance machine that from country k who made DDR clones and I still hate everything from country k. 😑
@Sunsy oh these are the classics! I only played the newer Mortals so I don't really have a comparison. But yeah, I don't really play a lot of fighting games because I don't have people to play with. It's much more fun if both players kinda know what they are doing, but mashing the buttons is fun too.
Also, at the same time I have expanded my rhythm gaming experience from playing Danz Base, a clone of Dance Evolution by Konami but I didn't have any negative impression with that machine since the machine made IGS, the Taiwanese game company which used ASUS Kinect sensor to capture the movement. Since Dance Evolution by Konami is really hard to find by some game Arcade owner, they used Danz Base instead for cheaper choice and the gameplay is really similar as Dance Evolution but with different song list.
The songs contained Western Pop songs, Chinese Pop songs, Japanese songs, Danz Base original songs and the country k songs. I only pick Japanese songs, Danz Base original songs and Western Pop songs since I have no interest with Chinese pop songs and I really hate everything from country k.
Actually I don't like with majority of the songs as I mostly don't like popular songs from late 2000's era and 2010's era like from Florida, Black Eyed Peas, etc but...
One song that I really like to play was PPAP 🤣
I like to play PPAP on Hard mode for the 1st song since the movement was still easy even on Hard mode and the song itself was really short.
The Western pop songs that I like to play are Rihanna song (Don't Stop The Music), Lady Gaga (Poker Face, Bad Romance), Arianna Grande (Break Free since this song have ever been featured on DDR A).
I don't play Danz Base very much, usually only two times with 3 songs for each session as I didn't feel really invested much Danz Base with very few songs I have interest about.
I dont like K either but they are less of a concern to me than some other things in Asia. What was the cause for you to hate them if you want to share?

Give me the real stuffs from Japan or Europe like during 90's era and early 2000's era.
What a beautiful phrase. I would if I could, if I only could.
Huh, I normally hate countries for genocides and other forms of hurting innocent people. Well, the influence is something you can easily get around, just ignore it. Don't buy the products and dont' watch trashy soap opera. Sweet disociation, become disconnected from the world. The world is full of creepy people and hurtful matters anyway.

@Sunsy Interesting. I had no idea Funko really delved into products besides the Pops. I like really detailed figures, but none that break the bank (Some aren't so much as "Can I?" but "Should I?" and I always talk myself out of them).
I mostly use amiibo for displaying, but I have used them for games. The vast majority of the time, they're purely cosmetic. Though some of the amiibo related to the Zelda series are a bit more hands-on. The Wolf Link amiibo unlocks an extra dungeon on which you can save your progress, and Skyward Sword Zelda + her Loftwing allow the player to go back to the sky instantly. I have a couple of the Smash amiibo, but typically more limited time ones catch my eye.
1. Princess Peach Showtime (Switch)
2. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (remake) (Switch)
3. Sonic x Shadow Generations (PS4)
4. Epic Mickey Rebrushed (PS4)
Hope everyone's doing good, apologies for the late reply. Been busy as heck, but I'm doing ok. Been enjoying my time with Side Order and I even got a win from the last splatfest!
@Tyranexx All this cake talk just made me remember something. We've made a homemade chocolate cake once a little less than a decade ago, with mocha frosting, and it was really good. It was from one of the cookbooks that my mom has. I should try other flavors of cake sometime, though that should be on occasion since cake is... not the healthiest thing you could eat, lol.
I've not played much of the other Metroid Prime games, just the first one. I... kind of hit a roadblock in MP1. There's a boss that I'm stuck at, and it's been frustrating me so I've been taking a break from the game. I may have to look up that boss somehow next time I play, which I don't normally like doing. That, and I'd have to break out of another Splatoon 3 phase of mine. Side Order's been taking up my free time, lol.
Agreed for sure on Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas. Didn't know that, thanks for telling me... I think it makes sense since a lot of Disney movies were adaptations of many classic stories from way back when, IIRC.
That's cool, I'm not sure if I've seen An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, but the title definitely sounds familiar. I probably saw bits and pieces of it long ago. It'd probably be a movie I'd like watching too... since I like old western themes, lol. I did see that video you've showed me, it was pretty funny... I remember that exact scene from The Iron Giant and it goes to show how much I much prefer the animated classics over the live-action remakes when it comes to Disney movies. Oh, I should say this before I forget. I saw Mulan and I really liked it. It was the animated one, as well.
@Sunsy That's cool, I've seen bits and pieces of Sailor Moon as well, but not a whole lot of it. I can't remember though... wasn't that show on Toonami? I'm saying this because that was another part of Cartoon Network that showed anime during the evening/night. I caught parts of Dragon Ball Z on Toonami as well. I loved playing Star Fox 64 by the way... still have my childhood copy and I also have it on the Wii VC and NSO. Love your sweet pun, by the way. I simply had to get that doll for my aunt, lol! That's cool, it does sound like a cute show... I just remembered, I have a DVD of the Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon that's the complete series. I used to have a couple VHS tapes of that show, but I no longer have them.
Thanks... they sure do! The Poppy and Branch plushies you've mentioned sound cute as well, especially with that magnet that lets them hold hands.
That's good, yeah I would think that the Fire Emblem games let you suspend your progress on any level as well. Haven't tried doing that yet though. I've heard of X and I've seen footage of it... it looks crazy-impressive for an original Game Boy game. I won't mind trying it out if it comes out on NSO as well. Heck, come to think of it, I'd love to see more Game Boy and GBA games come to NSO in general. Their current catalogs still seem... a bit small compared to what's featured on the NES, SNES, N64, and Genesis apps on NSO.
All righty... I'll let you know what I think when I eventually get to the Trolls movies. Just been very busy with things and Splatoon 3's been kind of dominating my free time, lol.

Good morning. ☺
Today is 29 February 2024, the date that only happened every 4 years.
Did you know if used to be February had 29 days by default and 30 days in leap year before Caesar Augustus took 1 day from February and added to August ?
Also, used to be September and November had 31 days, October and December had 30 days.
Anyway, it's raining here since 1 am as I woke up from my sleep. 🙁
