@EaglyBird The haunted house is a legit seasonal business that's mostly run by volunteers, but depending on how much we help out we do get a nice check at the end. Not enough to need to report to the IRS though. XD I enjoy it a lot, but it does take up a lot of my time. As for my nephew, he's three weeks old now. Needless to say I've been spoiling the little guy when I can. <3

@Sunsy Besides for security reasons, I also use private browsing to keep my browser history from getting too cluttered. I know it can easily be cleared, but I'm lazy that way. XD As for Poppy, she does seem like a genuinely sweet character in the limited film footage I have seen of her. Trailers and a couple of clips mostly. Though I'd say Barb is still more my style.

@MarioLover92 IMO Some of the world's best views are from an airplane; it's almost like a whole other world up there. Even if you're above (but not in) clouds, the sun shining on them makes it look like you're looking down at a fluffy white continent of hills and valleys. But yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of being processed like a commodity in security, and flight delays can seriously mess with everything.

My first roller coaster was a smaller yet classic wooden roller coaster when I was in the ballpark of 6 or 7 I think. No loops - most wooden roller coasters don't have inversions unless it's a steel/wood hybrid these days - and the track used some of the local terrain to great effect. I quite like the speed, and I do enjoy air time on roller coasters. Though I'm not someone who loves raising my arms lol. Light spinning rides are fine, it's just if they're spinning with a lot of force that bothers me. Depends on the center of force too. I can handle revolution type rides, but things like tilt-a-whirls seriously bother me.

SML1 didn't age very well IMO, but SML2 on the other hand did. At least the former introduced us to Princess Daisy. I think I vaguely recall playing either Wario Land II or Wario Land 3 temporarily on the bus back in the day; some kid was playing it on their Game Boy. I just remember being confused that the character kind of looked like Mario but wasn't lol. I have them all on the VC in some form or other. II is my favorite Wario Land title, but IMO it's hard to go wrong with any of them.

I legit think Sonic Forces is better than adventure 2. Could have been better if they gave Shadow more than 4 stages. His and Sonics are the only good ones.

One of them is wider because the full version of the logo includes the outline of that controller as the rail or strap attachment of the controller, while the other one does not have a distinct outline, so the negative space in between them is the rail/strap attachment of the other controller.

Ok look, this might sound crazy but I think F zero glitch my pixels on my light or something, there are these flashing (tiny) bars on a part of my switch, and funny enough they are the same size and position as my car in F zero, it fits! That and it’s starting to go away, it was flashing before but then the flashes stopped? I don’t know what happened and if anyone has a clue please tell me, because I wonder if it’s just me being paranoid or if F zero really did glitch the pixels some what, or if that’s even possible.

@Snatcher is the glitch only in that game? When did you start seeing it?

@OwlHighway1Revisited It was there even when I got out of the game and restarted the switch. I saw it right after closing F zero, it could have started during my play with Fzero, as it would be impossible to notice.

It’s gone now, just completely gone, it’s weird lol! I’m going to give it a break and see if it returns or something tomorrow lol.

@Snatcher if it returns take pictures of it, please!

Welcome to another episode of ultra botched reviews after 1 hour of gameplay

Motorfest - Hawaii has never been more beautiful, but we decided to try and ruin it with the "celebrity app playlist homie selfie vibin' " mess of a setup. Nevertheless, we didn't succeed - the game is still marvelous and natural beauty of O'ahu shines through. We need to use the turbo. All the time. Even if you turn off the turbo in the menu - you only turn it off for yourself, the enemies still use it. And yes, it's "enemies" not "opponents" because they really are trying to kill you and themselves. They are as dumb as drivatars in Forza and Gran Turismo 7. Some cars handle like a dream, some are literally unplayable, we didn't test anything, we just put the data in and sent it to the factory.

Pros

• Hawaii is as beautiful as in Test Drive Unlimited
• Steering is fun

Cons

• homie aura and preteen energy is strong with this one
• AI and PR manager won't shut the F up for 5 seconds.
• Camaro event where everything is 3x faster than you and you can catch up to them on corners because opponents can't drive for sh but it doesn't matter because they will escape on one of 21093712938km straights.

Final Score: inflatable wheel/10

Has anyone noticed Metacritic has renovated/changed their site? First impressions... is it less intuitive for searching games now? Maybe I just need more time with it?

edit: I think it skews toward less user friendly than it was.

@Snatcher Sounds like there was some screen burn-in. Just curious, did you play in docked or handheld mode? A similar thing happened to me when I was playing Galactic Attack in handheld mode. The HUD would be burned in on the Switch's screen for a little while, but it went away eventually. It kinda scared me when that happened, though.

I just had a dream that my persona, the half-kitsune, enrolled in Beacon Academy from RWBY, which is weird because I've never actually seen the series, just the "Chibi" spinoff.
