@blindsquarel Ah, it was only a matter of time! Everyone says chocolate is the best which I will agree it is delicious but it just doesn’t compare to the calm flavor of vanilla! However if the pudding is made with a mix instead of the ones that are pre made theeeeeeen, it’s so hard for me to decide which I would like more, vanilla still has that, flavor, and chocolate, something about it makes me just melt……..no you won’t convert me with thought alone!

@Anti-Matter Pudding flavors?

I'm compiling a playlist of Nintendo songs in traditional Japanese style, like Autumn Mountain from "Paper Mario: The Origami King" or Ecruteak City from "Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver".

Come to think of it, anyone played:
-Yomawari
-Phantom Brave

  • Myst
  • Skyrim
  • Sacred
  • National Park Girls
  • Return to Shironagasu Island
  • A Rose In Twilight
  • A Liar Princess and a Blind Prince

Or is interested in games like:

  • Against The Storm
  • Ratten Reich
  • Laika Aged Through Blood
  • Nairi
  • Paper Lily

I'm asking because I feel like we don't really talk a lot about video games here, and I'm always open for discussion

@Princess_Lilly Kinda funny that a video game focused websites main thread has nothing to do with gaming lol! However! I think the reasoning for this is because people talk about games on the PC gaming thread PlayStation thread, Nintendo switch thread, gaming thread, so everyone goes there while everyone here just talks and does silly stuff.

Affogato is a dessert from Vanilla ice cream or gelato poured with hot coffee.
I knew Affogato from Cooking Mama 2 NDS recipe.

@Snatcher Vanilla’s too bland. Blue Bubblegum is the best.

You only need to know about my many obsessions, which consist of Lego, Fortnite, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox games, drawing on my Tablet, Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, Thomas The Tank Engine, Star Wars, and Ninjago.

JONOFTHEJONS

@Anti-Matter Huh, I never knew you played the Cooking Mama games. Can I learn how to cook meals by learning the recipes in the games? Because I have to start cooking meals, seeing as my parents are going away more.

@JONOFTHEJONS
Sure.
You can learn the cooking process from Cooking Mama games, but some of the recipes got simplified in cooking process so it will looks quite different when the specific steps got removed from actual recipes in order to avoid too many cooking steps to be played by kids.
For example, making Ice cream in Cooking Mama 2 by only scooping the ice cream box depend on the order, not literally tell how to make ice cream from scratch and thus the cooking steps for Ice Cream just only 1 action that supposed to be more than 5 actions to make Ice Cream from scratch.

Thanks to Quake II, I've been on a classic FPS kick lately, so yeah, that's why I disappeared. Gaming and enjoying some classic FPS games in addition to stuff I need to do everyday.

@Sunsy First, I apologize a little for my last post. That was typed on a treadmill, so my proofreading wasn't the best. Apparently a couple of autocorrect mistakes got through. My dad got an injection, not an infection. I wish my dad would take care of himself better, but....Well, there are less hygienic people out there, but he isn't exactly the best example of it. XD

In hindsight, I wish I'd taken a photo of the figure so I could research who it was as I'm not very familiar with the Trolls franchise. I don't think it was Poppy though. Unfortunately that machine was repaired and has already moved back to its location.

Alright, that's fine, mistakes do happen. Honestly, I don't like autocorrect. Always messes me up whenever I type on my phone. I always preferred PC since I feel like I have more control over my typing and mistakes. Sorry to hear he doesn't take better care of himself.

Alrighty, the only ones I could think were possable are the bigger ones. The smaller ones usually have their bodies still without movable parts. Here's some of mine, these are the bigger ones.

@Sunsy Oh that's awesome. Once I get more into PC games I'll try to use GOG more. In terms of what games I wanna get, I'm planning on preordering Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It's the next Mario platformer and it looks insanely good, why wouldn't I want it? I do want to get Sonic Superstars after I finish SMBW, too.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of fighting games. A lot of them are too complex for my liking, especially the button combinations you'd have to do to pull off special moves. Plus they get insanely hard, and they don't have as much replay value for me. It's totally ok that you and others like them, I can see why, it's just that they're... not my cup of tea. If that counts, the only one I really like is Smash Bros. Yeah streaming makes it a heck of a lot easier to watch shows, since everyone has their own schedules on doing productive stuff. That's cool. Even though I'm not huge into Pokemon, I actually do have a few of the games on my 3DS. Namely Crystal, Omega Ruby, and Sun. I should play more of those sometime, honestly. I actually want to get Pokemon Legends: Arceus sometime, especially after I'm done with Tears of the Kingdom. I've not played Pokemon Trading Card Game, I might give it a shot on NSO.

Gotcha, it sounds like he said that in a harsh tone. Heaven forbid that anyone like the Smurfs, lol! My aunt loves the Smurfs, she did tell me that it was one of her favorites back in the day. My mom actually had the first Just Dance on the Wii, I've seen her play it for a bit.

Jeez that sucked. Glad that doesn't happen anymore. I've known someone who had the Xbox One and he went through something similar, with him having to be online. Yeah I still remember that, Microsoft really wanted it to be this all-in-one console. Plus it was so expensive when it came out, it was $500 at launch.

I've gotten more used to being on planes, but my first flight did have me nervous. I take it you've not took a plane before? I've not played Strike Commander, the closest I got was the Star Fox series.

Nice, that's awesome. On the Switch at least, I have Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, and Virtua Racing, plus I still have Asphalt 9 downloaded. Mario Kart is the one that got the most play time for me. I have Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on both Wii U and Steam. I don't have the Dreamcast ones you've mentioned, since I don't have a Dreamcast to begin with.

It's been so long since I've seen Lady and the Tramp... the animated Disney one, that is. I do remember it being a sweet movie. I still remember some parts from it, as well.

Oh that's cool, that does sound like a nice morning. I love how Peach is playable too, plus Daisy and Toadette are joining the fun.

Nice! I'm just going to wait for Trolls Remix Rescue. Been wanting a proper Trolls game ever since losing that mobile one a few years ago. Plan to get it on both PC and Switch, just to have it on both systems I play on.

That's fine. I like fighting more on PC, playing Mortal Kombat is as easy as simply "typing" your combo, lol. Though, Mortal Kombat II's arcade is known and confirmed to cheat, the game's been programmed to read your button inputs, and counter them in no way a human can. The first few fights are fair, then fight 3-4, it's a struggle since the game is trying to suck quarters out of you. The PC DOS version doesn't have this though, but ports of the arcade original do because the arcade original still thinks it's an arcade machine, not a console. Talk about pay to win, lol. I count Smash as a fighting game.

Nice, I haven't played any of the newer entries aside from Let's Go Eevee. Enjoy them if you get around to playing them.

Yup! People who do like licensed games are often fans of said licensed series. I also have the Smurfs 2 on Wii U and DS, and Smurfs on 3DS. The best ones are still the two recent ones by Microids. They did a great job with their Smurfs games.

Yeah, the internet went down the other night too. I didn't play anything, but if I wanted to I could with GOG's games, or if I had Steam opened in offline mode. Stuff like that always has me looking into DRM-free whenever possible.

I was on a plane when I was a kid, but nowadays, I'm just afraid to fly on them. Always afraid something might happen and it crashes. Star Fox is good, though by flight sim, I'm thinking of games that let you pilot and fly in detail. Like taking off, landing, that sort of thing. I'd say Pilotwings might be similar to that more so than Star Fox.

Cool, I always liked racing games. I played a lot of Sonic & All-Stars Racing. I remember getting the game 10 years ago, and getting hooked to playing it online a lot.

It is a good movie, I remember watching the animated one and the live action one back to back (on two separate days). Mom and I did that for the recent live action remake of The Little Mermaid. We watched the live action one when it came to Disney+, and watched the animated one the day after. Never had much of a problem with their remakes, as unpopular of an opinion as that is, but I do find them predictable due to following the same story.

Indeed. I'm personally surprised at all the options for characters in the game, since I was just expecting Mario, Luigi, and two Toads like the New Super Mario series.

@Sunsy I’m playing Quake II on my Xbox at this moment. It makes me think why Boltgun is only 30 Frames per Second on Switch, while Quake II and DOOM (1993) are 60 Frames per Second.

JONOFTHEJONS

@HenryKibble I loved Mutant Mayhem, but I forced myself to agree with my dad by saying it was “rubbish.”

Sunsy

@JONOFTHEJONS Nice. Playing Quake II led me to play some other classic FPS games including Final Doom for a bit, and Wolf 3D and its expansions, as well as Requiem, an obscure FPS from 1999 that reminds me of Quake.

My guess to that is maybe the engine Boltgun uses its own engine and has newer graphical features. Quake and Quake II uses the Quake engine, which is pretty old, however the remasters uses Nightdive's Kex engine. The only Switch games I played with that engine are Quake and Doom 64, and they run super smooth.

Quake II, I've been playing on PC. GOG gave me the remaster for free for having the original Quake II Quad Damage pack on my account.
