@Anti-Matter the 1, 2, 3, 4 from the video I posted actually come from this song:

It’s a very very very silly Mexican song, though I hear it got popular world-wide thanks to it being used in a GTA game.

The name of the song literally means “the little sound”.

@Eel I feel like there is a thread for numbered posts, where we (the users) try to post numbers in order before the mods comment and we restart the whole thing again.

Once in a blue moon it shows up and then leaves as mysteriously as it came.

I too want to preserve my games in that way. But I am to scared I will brick my system.

Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG
Enos 1:15

@blindsquarel ok without going into detail. Nowadays it's almost impossible to brick your 3DS if you follow the guide (if you do it don't watch a video, follow the guide). I did it in under an hour it's not hard. I cannot say anymore......... I must get rid of the evidence

Oh, about Noob: The Factionless.
It's a turn based RPG game made by French developer BlackPixel Studio & Olydri Games.
I found the Steam version in French language of the gameplay.

@Tasuki: posting this here to stop derailing the suggestions thread.

But you know?…It’s a bit funny… for a really long time, I assumed you really hated emulation, because the majority of reports about it came from you!

NGL, I'd completely forgotten Gamescom was this week until I started seeing a few articles here and there on the main site...

I swear on my life I didn’t even know that it was happening either. Only thing that made me realise something’s going on was that Sony revealed a new PS5 controller. Kinda like the Xbox Elite controller. But No Nintendo No News amirite?

@Eel I don't mind emulation, as long as you us ROM dumps from your own stuff it's when people go onto the no-no sites and download the games for free taking money away from developers and such, but I am not going into that here. As for the reports, that was because of the warning I got and I thought it was against the site rules here. But I guess if it's on a Nintendo system it'sOK, my apologies for the problems I have caused.

Yeah it was awhile ago that I got that warning about 2013 cause that was the last time I owned a computer. It was from TheBlackDragon.

@Anti-Matter that reminds me of a PS1 game. I really like the look of that lol.

@NeonPizza sadly no. Outside of mods there are no 60fps versions, or "better versions". From what I know the Xbox 360 version (I think) is the best one.

Spawn Wave looks scary without his glasses lol. (I do too)

@NeonPizza PC is the best way to play all the Metal Slugs, mainly because the retro modding scene is amazing.

I bought Avenging Spirit on Switch and...... It's not good.

@NeonPizza I love the Gameboy version and I got the Switch one because the arcade version had never been re-released. Then I played it and it was janky and slow at points, plus I found a way to glitch myself into an enemy and get stuck.

Yeah, I saw that yesterday, too. XD It was hard to ignore. He looks fine. Although, you know what distracts me? His mustache gap under his nose; When he talks, if you watch the gap, the ends of his mustache kiss over and over at that gap. LOL. I think the camera exaggerates the effect, but it's amusing. (I have a crappier beard, so I'm not knocking him otherwise)

A second-hand store owner gave my dad a weird folder that came with two booklets, a sheet of stickers, and a weird luggage tag-looking thing that was all leather, no windows to see the information. They gave it to him for free since they couldn't figure out exactly what was it for.

Looking on google I found out it's indeed a luggage tag, from a luxury brand. They gave him an accessory kit from a brand called Rimowa. It probably came with one of their overpriced trunks.

@NeonPizza Yeah, I think he looks good/fine. Spawn Wave said he was wearing contacts while his glasses get fixed or ordered. But it is funny how initially distracting it is to see someone without glasses, if they've always been wearing them.

Ever since the pandemic, my close up vision is starting to go. I'm sure it's age related. For 40+ years I've had 20/20 vision. I've never needed glasses. So I'm scared to get glasses. Especially since glasses don't look good on me. Can contacts help close up vision?
