@kkslider5552000 please follow your doctors instructions and the diet you’ve been given. Your weight will normalize with time, but you gotta do things the right way.

Make sure to carry a piece of candy around just in case though, when my aun gets distracted and forgets to eat properly, she can go through low sugar episodes that are very scary, so I make sure to always carry some when we visit her.

Take care, you can mange this.

@Eel I respect the advice and I'm not even going to say you're wrong but between inconsistent messages I've gotten from different doctors and a complete lack of interest or information or acknowledgement about notable weight loss that has been recorded from doctor's visits this past year, that has been a thing for a year, along with inexplicable inconsistency with how I'll respond to X amount of insulin, I'm genuinely uncertain about my circumstances.

@Sunsy It snowed a bit in my area, too. It wasn't too snowy, but it was definitely there. Weather can be funny at times, lol. Thanks, I actually have some nostalgia for NES Pinball. My grandmother used to have that at her house, alongside other NES games like Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I think I had that as a set of e-Reader cards, too... I also had Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. as e-Reader cards.

Yeah, same here. This is why I said "I could be wrong." If there's a Nintendo Direct coming soon, great. Otherwise, no big deal. I would certainly like to see what they'll be making, but I always let them take their time, lol.

Yeah exactly! I love getting exclusive stuff and souvenirs when I travel in general, too. It's also a good way to remember your trip, alongside taking pictures and videos. Gotcha, shows tend to be like 20 minutes long I think, though it depends on the series in question.

Oh that's cool, yeah once you get the feel for these characters, it does make things easier. I just don't have the patience to learn fighting games though, lol. I'm decent at Smash Bros., but that's really it. Yeah definitely, I like NSO, but I kinda wish I'd own at least my favorites on Switch. It's cool having all those Mega Man games at least.

Gotcha, thanks for telling me. I never read those Sonic comics. That's awesome, stuff like this is worth remembering for sure... glad to hear you got a picture with Poppy.

I sometimes do Time Trials in Mario Kart, I've done a few tracks in Mario Kart World's Time Trials mode already. I used to play that mode to just drive around tracks when I was a kid.

I wouldn't mind trying it out if it does come out on Nintendo Classics. Oh nice, looks like your aunt kind of knows about that game, haha.

@PeterTomlan86 There was, but I've never played it. Sunsy went ahead and explained the game.

Yes, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an amazing game for sure. I went ahead and got the last star, and I'm all done with the game. Now I should think of what game to start next... maybe Metroid Prime 4? Recently I've been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, and I'm enjoying it.

"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."

Playing: Mario Kart World, Disney Dreamlight Valley

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️

@kkslider5552000 I would say pick one doctor and stick to that one. Not sure how it works over there though, but I was raised by two of them and know doctors well enough to say they’re territorial creatures. So, basically going from one doctor to another and pitting their opinions against each other may result in both saying “ask your other doctor then”. But again, I don’t know how it works over there so take that with a grain of salt.

I assume you’re relatively early on in your treatment, so for now if you already have a prescription and a diet+exercise plan, then the best you can do is following that as close as you can, while keeping in mind that, as with many things, it will take time for things to feel “normal” again. The early days of change are always the harshest.

(Oh and don’t worry, if you’re uncomfortable or unwilling to continue this conversation then that’s entirely on me, don’t feel obligated to reply!)
