@Kermit1 Yeah, I think I bought this one in 2013. I think used it on Sonic 1 and Mega Man 2 on Wii. The other two are still the same cards in circulation now. Just that's the old art they used, and it lacked a Switch logo.
Cool, I think I found this Wii points card in Target. Bought it right before leaving the store that day. The other two, I can't remember, I think the eShop card with the systems on it was from GameStop and I used it on my 3DS. I think Kirby Pinball Land was the game I bought.
Edit: A lot of "I thinks" because it's been awhile since I've bought these.
Friends was an interesting part of my life because I was too young to like it as a kid born in 1990. The later seasons would always have reruns on our local English channel, but the jokes mostly flew over my adolescent mind. Fast forward to 2009-2010, perhaps. I can't remember the specific year, but I remember that Friends was probably the first adult live action show I bothered to watch the full series of. It's strange for me to do that because I used to have zero interest in adult live action TV, preferring to tune into Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and as I got older, anime.
But I guess Friends caught my curiosity because, like I said, it was always on at our local network, and I checked it out due to some deep-seated nostalgia even though I've never even seen any episode in its entirety. But man, once I started watching, I just chugged all ten seasons through. Chandler was obviously the big draw that kept me watching 'coz Matthew Perry was freaking hilarious and charismatic. He literally kept the show alive IMO. And despite the many obvious flaws and dated stereotypes we could now see with greater clarity, I felt like I enjoyed myself quite a lot for those 10 seasons. Then again, be aware that 1) I might have seen this in my early 20s, when my taste in movies/TV shows wasn't that sophisticated yet, and 2) I've only seen this show once. No rewatch, so I might've not minded some of those stereotypes the first time round (though the "Homo erectus" joke did put me off the most among all the homophobic jokes on the show).
Anyway, it's also my only sitcom ever. I generally don't enjoy American comedies, especially when I got older, which is why Big Bang Theory wasn't even anywhere on my radar. Liar Liar still remains as one of my favorite comedies of all time though because of Jim Carrey's slapstick.
@Kermit1
I never watched Seinfeld (till recently). Jerry Seinfeld's also kinda an egoistical jerk in real life... as are most celebrities.
Also, I'm pretty sure Seinfeld is so old they never even bothered to show it in my time on our local network in Singapore.
Also, I'm pretty sure more people called Friends overrated than the amount of people who actually defended or liked the show, so maybe it's not that overrated after all. lmao Even I wasn't defending the show, but merely saying it's part of my past.
I grew up watching The Nanny, The Fresh Prince, and Kennan & Kel.
Never saw the first two, but I saw some of Kenan & Kel. It was okay. I remember arguing with this ex-bestfriend of mine a lot though because he was #Team Nickelodeon and I was #Team Disney Channel, and he would constantly harass me over how Nick shows were so superior that I didn't bother to watch Nick shows for quite a while.
I mean, technically, he was correct, as Nick shows were more mature in tone, but he was being pretty obnoxious about it. Ironically, he thought Pokémon was the better show. lmfao He who called Nick shows more mature, therefore the better shows or whatever, thought Digimon was a lesser show even though it was clearly more mature in tone as well compared to Pokémon. What a hypocrite. I think he hated anime too, while ironically loving the heck out of Avatar: The Last Airbender which was inspired by anime style. And newsflash: guess what else was anime? Pokémon. lol
@Maxenmus I will watch the show. Then give you my answer because I've only seen one episode and that's not a good way to judge a show. Once I'm done with The Office (season 4 is great)
I will watch the show. Then give you my answer because I've only seen one episode and that's not a good way to judge a show.
If you're referring to Seinfeld, don't do me any favors. lol I'm not really all that passionate about the show or knowing if it's good or not. It's just one of those popular shows that I bothered to watch to see what all the fuss is about.
Also, The UK ORIGINAL Office > US Office any day. Then again, I enjoy British dry wit humor more than American humor, so that might have played some part in why I didn't find Steve Carell funny. In the order of funniest American comedians, Steve isn't in my top 10.
@Maxenmus Steve is not in my top 10 either, but he's a 10/10 actor and in my top 20 of actors.
I meant I'll give Friends a watch... I need to start making a road map of what I'm going to watch. (I dropped Seinfeld for the office because I got bored)
My road-map finish The Office Re-watch Get Back Extraordinary Attorney Woo Grand Tour Season 5 Re-watch Edwardian Farm for the third time (the show is 10/10, and all the other ones are 10/10 too) Re-watch Wartime Farm

Yo, I have visited your Dream island in ACNH and it was really great design for 845 hours gameplay. 😀
You used some natural path design for your island.
I found there were 3 players on your island.
With whom did you play ?
You have some zodiac statues on basement. My house have same items too and on the same floor as yours as well.
I give it 4/5 stars for your island
I have uploaded my Dream Island and you can visit my island.
Here is my Dream Address.

Kinda wanna change up my profile picture at some point. I did find a couple cool pictures on Mario Wiki, or I could use another one of my MK8D clips! Decisions, decisions.
Stunt shows never really appealed to me as a kid. I just wanted to watch TeleToon Retro 24/7, I grew up with He-Man and Bugs Bunny reruns and Jim Henson films. Deep down I'm an 80s kid even though I was born in the early 00s, I remember watching VHS tapes and the few classic Disney films we had.
Similarly, I was born in the early 90s, and I've grown up with older cartoons as well, even ones that were made way before my time. We'd have VHS tapes of classic Disney films back then, such as Pinocchio, Cinderella, and 101 Dalmatians - all of which were originally made back when Walt Disney was around. (101 Dalmatians was a childhood favorite of mine, as well!) I've seen reruns of old Looney Tunes cartoons too, as well as stuff that were aired on Boomerang. Pretty amazing to see that all of this were made available for newer generations in some way.
@Sunsy Those cards sure brought back memories! You have no idea how long it's been since I've seen that Wii Points card. I bought a ton of Virtual Console games for my Wii with those things. lol
I had a similar mindset as well, in regards to tees. I had a few Nintendo themed tees when I was a teen, but not many. Most of my clothes were just regular. I did have one shirt that had a designer name (it said "Abercrombie," IIRC), but that was just something I happened to have. I was never too crazy for designer brands myself. Today, I have a boat load of Mario tees (plus some Zelda, Metroid, Pac-Man, Sonic, and Mega Man tees)... and I'm totally happy with them!
So yeah, similarly, my teen years were not that great either. I was ridiculed just for liking Nintendo games, too. Not my idea of fun.
Nice, good to hear the movie will be fresh for ya. Wonder what other details you'll pick up on during your next viewing?

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️

Fair enough, but I still can't remember a single film I like him in, but probably because he stars in movies I'm not interested in. I guess Anchorman is supposed to be kind of a cult comedy classic among Americans or something, but I never got into those films. Evan Almighty looks horrible. I skipped Despicable Me because I'm not a fan of any Dreamworks animation that isn't Prince of Egypt. 40 Year Old Virgin is one of those raunchy American comedies I hate so much.
So yeah, all around disinterest and ill feelings, unfortunately.
I wouldn't recommend it. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I wasn't exactly praising the show, merely mentioning that it played quite a significant role in my life once. It definitely hasn't aged well, and not a comedy I would recommend watching. Then again, I would probably not recommend most American comedies to begin with, including How I Met Your God-Awful Title That Doesn't Even Rhyme. (Neil Patrick Harris said that himself btw about the title, not me lol)
(I dropped Seinfeld for the office because I got bored)
Seinfeld the series has a very... unique sense of humor tbh. I know I acted like I dismissed the show, and I still do, but I'll also admit that "the show about nothing" has its own nihilistic charm that's also one of the reasons why I stuck with it, I guess. It's literally a show about four awful people, and I guess that's suitable for a cynical person like myself.
@Maxenmus same. I don't ever follow the celeb gossip it's stupid most of the time.
Celebrity's are people and do people thing just with more money involved. They are not your friends, the guy 3 houses down from me is someone I see from time to time but I'm not his friend.

I'm kinda thankful for cable because of that. Many of those older classics you mentioned, I only managed to see them on the Disney Channel or Cartoon Network, something normally impossible when you're living in Singapore because we don't often do reruns of American shows older than 10 years. Plus, the idea of revisiting classic cartoons broadcasting 24/7 on television was a fantasy before then. Kids today have no idea how good they have it with streaming services.

@Sunsy
The only voucher card I have ever seen was PSN gift card Indonesia version (with Rupiah currency).
Also, the new Kirby game on Switch (Dream Buffet) was really made me concern about future gaming when the games got treatment as live service, Nintendo add additional things on the games that doesn't really necessary need the new items and that's why I will not pick up games with treatment like that as I heard also Kirby Dream Buffet was created based on Fall Out popularity as I immediately felt really uncomfortable to play too popular things that doesn't match with my genuine interest. You know I don't like with most of popular things.
Have you ever concerning that situation also?
Am I the only one that can't stand weddings? All that sitting around. Awkward extended family, long, expensive, not comfortable to hang around at. I don't get it. Feels like we're there just to make the bride & groom to feel good. I don't go to weddings anymore. I'll understand if I'm an oddball.
