@jump I've never been scared of anything since I saw The Dark Crystal.... but that truly scared me.... I don't jump scare easily....

So I've been rewatching some old Pokemon episodes through Pokemon TV and it made me remember a thought I've had for a long time: if there was ever a Pokemon I wouldn't want to be real, it's Galvantula.

I love Galvantula as a Pokemon: great type, cool take on a spider Pokemon and pretty alright as a fast offensive hazard setter in competitive. However, they would be absolutely terrifying to have in real life. You could argue that Ariados would be worse since it's a giant poisonous spider, however poisonous spiders are much more common in our own world and thus could be dealt with using anti-venom and natural common sense. Galvantula on the other hand could just decide you don't get to live anymore since it can fire concentrated blasts of pure electricity at alarming speeds whilst also webbing you up so you can't move.

Also, have you seen how GIGANTIC this mon is for a spider?!

2ft 7in is massive for something this deadly!

If you really want to see a tense scary film try It Follows or Oculus.

@jump it follows is really underrated. One of the better and more unique horror films in recent memory. Really scratched that 80s horror film vibe I love.

and the Netflix show is 10% darker

@jump Don't talk to me about It Follows. I saw that movie accidentally when I was young and it haunted me for so many years afterwards.

@Fizza That's one reason I don't watch horror, scary stuff (like it should) sticks with me... Repeats in my brain over and over again

@NintendoByNature the premise alone is brilliant but then it’s backed up actually being a good film too.

@Fizza did you learn nothing from the film, if it’s still haunting you then you know what you need to do to get rid of it. Just make sure you sleep with someone you don’t like!

most of my nightmares involve either falling or sneaking around/getting caught. Once I had these "nightmares" where If I'd fall off my bed (there were holes in the floor in the dreams), It would be a hippo from a baby Einstein DVD would pop out of a hole and drag me in... Let's just say I feared rolling off my bed

@jump yea for sure, it ticked all the boxes. When I epxlain the movie to people who haven't seen, you kind of get a sideways look, lol. But it's like, just trust me, it's good.
