@Wavey84 Well, sorry to disappoint you and sorry for all the effort of text-walling me, but there's simply NO way in hell that I would EVER buy anything from Sony.
I won't hold it against you, but had you been more familiar with my history with Sony and their simply abyssmal customer "service", then you could have saved yourself a LOT of time and text.
What it basically comes down to, is that they screwed me over three times in a row, and as the saying goes: "three strikes... "
Besides, according to most of the more reputable tests that I have read AND seen (such as the one from Digital Foundry), LG is consistently scoring higher than Sony, and not even by a small margin. Better blacks, lower latency etc. Important things for film and game fans like me...
So, in short, my mind is already made up. The effort is appreciated though, nonetheless.
@Tyranexx I expected nothing else from such a fine individual as yourself, ma'am...
On a side note: also feels like ages ago when l33t was used. Not that it was ever really popular. Unless you count Prince kinda popularizing/bastardizing it
@MarioLover92 Yeah, those D-pads definitely weren't kind to thumbs...
That is why at one point, I decided to get me one of these, also for use with the Game Boy Player:
@TheJGG What is it with people and LONG replies to my decidedly concise posts?
All kidding aside, did you not watch the video I posted? That does look decidedly close to a regular car, albeit more like an Italian sports car, hence my previous comment.
What I meant by looks more like a car than the others out there is that most other flying "cars" just have the body/fuselage of a plane, so it looks like a wingless plane on four wheels when used as a car. The model in the clip I showed you is a MASSIVE improvement, in that regard.
As for these vehicles crashing/falling from the sky (and I'll just tag @Anti-Matter in here as well): besides me personally rather having decidedly small cars falling from the sky than small planes or jumbo jets (or parts of jumbo jets, as has happened recently in various countries), I would assume that people would need a flying permit, so disasters should be kept to a minimum, or at least not happen much more frequently than with other smaller air traffic.

@ThanosReXXX Yeah... I’m like that with conversations. I’m part of a rare breed of human that actually likes writing essays and passages in general, so... here we are. I did see the video, and that video was the concept and inspiration of my entire essay.
Actually it was you and JaxonH who inspired me to become the verbose mage of words that I am on the forums here, because I usually take the time to read your ridiculously long posts. Plus, it improves my writing. Those posts I wrote on Princess Mononoke and Your Name? I managed to turn it into a three page essay. If I ever need one I can start with that.
On your remarks on Sony, fair, but I’m sitting here just after playing some GT Sport on the PlayStation 5 which is a marvel in design and engineering. Although you likely aren’t talking about SCE itself.
@Anti-Matter THE SKY IS FALLING! The sky is falling!
@TheJGG
I have finished Chicken Little PS2 1 months ago and it was sooo... Disappointing.
The game was too linear, no revisitable places not to mention very ridiculous hard gameplay at final sections.
Yeah, the sky is falling, so does with the movie and the game.
But, i think Ace in Action on PS2 looks quite promising in term of gameplay like Ratchet & Clank.
Oh, well.
I will expand more my PS2 games with BEMANI games.
@ThanosReXXX I remember seeing that controller! I've seen it on a few YouTube videos, and it does look like it's good. They're insanely pricey nowadays, sadly.

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@TheJGG Yeah, I bear Sony's console no ill will, it's just the company as a whole that I honestly detest, because of my personal experiences with them.
And yes, unfortunately, it has now become pretty expensive. They also come in black, by the way. Strangely enough, or maybe not, the GameCube purple one is often the more expensive one, so if you're still interested in tracking one down, I'd say keep an eye out for the black one on eBay or any game web shop. Even second-hand, they are well worth getting. I myself would gladly pay anything around 50 to 60 bucks to get my hands on another one.
It's affectionately called the "Hori pad", by the way. Or GameCube Hori pad in full. The official name on the box is "Game Boy Player Controller" and the official color names are Indigo and Jet Black.
@Link-Hero Well, that kinda was my earlier point already. And seeing as no one on this Earth is worried about small or large planes falling on their heads, they shouldn't be worried about it happening with flying cars either.
If you send me a friend request, please @ me so I know who you are. (One would think this would not need to be stated, as it ought to be common courtesy. Alas.)
I had something similar in my signature. Mine said, "tag me & say hi if you add me, so I know who you are". Only one person ever taged me, and like 15-20+ added me, but never tagged me. So, it was virtually all strangers. I guess it's kids? I..... I don't know. But the lack of tags was surprising, lol. So, I stopped adding people. Partly because I our schedules or game choices never matched up to play.
@WoomyNNYes the blackhole I had to get out of was the animal crossing thread. Eventually, I took my FC out of my signature so the adding would stop. Then, I just stopped playing altogether, so problem solved I guess lol.
@NintendoByNature That's comical how consistent is is with what I experienced. So wild. Like, there are so many friendly people here, but none of them sent adds? Are there that many people too shy to say hi using this site? Or like I mentioned above, maybe it's mostly kids?
@Northwind : I have received a few friend requests as well (most of which I have accepted) and I can only assume that they have come from here as well as I do not believe that I have posted my (Switch) friend code anywhere else.
I wish that people would at least @ me so that I know who they are.
I have my FC stuff in my signature and yet no-one adds me.
Be yourself, no matter who you are!
For me, that's being madly in love with fictional characters. Plz don't judge.
Yes, my first anime was High School DxD. Don't ask or judge!
