Can't believe I'm likening my real world life to The Emoji Movie. In fact it was those idiots who copied me; choked on that pizza long before that movie existed, and made my story into ninety minutes of pure cringe. Kill me now.
@ThanosReXXX - Hey man, doing well and hope the same for you. As I mentioned to Anti, my new career as school dad has really been all consuming. I really enjoy the opportunity to spend this time with my kids, but it’s easily the toughest job I’ve had. Seems I work at it 12 hours a day and then spend several hours a night prepping for the next day. Still found some time to sink into AoC though. Hope you’re well.
@Tyranexx - Hey, good to hear from you. I’ve seen you on playing BOTW lately, and I’m definitely curious about your thoughts. AoC actually made me nostalgic for BOTW as it’s been a few years now, and I’m kind of jealous you’re currently working through the experience.
@NintendoByNature - Yeah, git gud bro, obviously. I mean, even if it’s vaporware, a serious gamer would never let that stop them from gettin güd. Stop goofing around and get serious about this stuff. Become level 99.
@Tyranexx Maybe...I am not sure. It kinda sounds familiar. Next time I play I'll pick a different one. That's awesome you're liking the demo! I may give it a shot one day, though it depends on how busy I am with 3D World and New Horizons. (Other matters too, of course.) I'm getting a little impatient on the Mario items arriving in NH, lol. March can't come soon enough.

@MarioLover92 Yup, use of GameCube controllers: yet another reason why I'm also keeping the original Wii around...
@Tyranexx Phew! Good to know that I wasn't entirely making a fool of myself with my poor attempt at l33t sp34k...
@TheJGG I'm usually not one for entire albums, but if I had to choose one, then it's probably the first. Usually, I just go for and collect the individual numbers, kind of creating my own "Best Of" album...
As for flying cars: to this day, I'm still disappointed that most of them don't actually look like cars but just mini planes with detachable or foldable wings that you can also drive on the road. Luckily, there's a couple of efforts out there, such as this one, that show promise of an ACTUAL flying car, that also LOOKS like a real car:
Although as is clear from the video, it doesn't really look like an average Joe car, but still more like a "look at me being the smug millionaire with my flying super car" vehicle. Next stop: flying family vans...
@Wavey84 Four to five hours of sleep a day is enough, if you can maximize it, by actually resting, and not tossing and turning. If I sleep for eight hours or more, I actually feel more tired the next day.
As for the TV: I've got a Panasonic Viera Plasma screen myself. That was the previous "never been beaten by anything" model. But it's nearing the end of its life, as indicated by the light blue smudges all over the screen, thanks to slow burn-in over the course of the years. My next TV will be the LG C9 or CX, seeing as those are simply the best screens for gaming, as indicated by a myriad of test panels.
@bimmy-lee Thanks, and yeah, I'm doing relatively well, like you considering the circumstances, albeit in this case under the somewhat more fortunate circumstance of living alone. I can still work in the (semi-populated) office, and I don't have any kids to home-school, so even though under normal circumstances, I'd feel very alone sometimes, I feel pretty relaxed and free nowadays.
Having said that, I'm still just as tired as all the other people around the world, of all these restrictions and government officials telling me what I can and cannot do, so here's hoping that there's going to be a light at the end of the COVID tunnel before too long...

@Eel Man, that Among Us experience sounds cruddy. I have the free mobile version. Haven't played in awhile, but the only people I've played with are those I know IRL and some of their acquaintances. I've had fun, though I'm not the best imposter since I don't know most of the maps well lol. Your experience brings home why I stopped playing with online randoms in games ages ago. For every decent person out there I've played with, there's at least 1-2 others who think it's perfectly fine to behave like a [expletive] online. If I game online, I stick with either people I know IRL or those I've chatted with online long enough to have some idea of their conduct.
@bimmy-lee BotW is seriously one of the best games I've played! Definitely one of the best Zelda titles in my book. There's so much to do, and the gameplay loop is very addicting. I just put the finishing touches on my first run and sent Calamity Ganon packing. I found all 120 Shrines and currently am sitting at 351 Korok seeds. I'll likelu dive in every now and again for a short session or two, but I plan on taking a break until I inevitably buy the DLC and dive in again lol.
Two minor complaints: 1. Shrines are nice, but I'd like to see a few proper dungeons. The Divine Beasts weren't quite the same. 2. I've never been a fan of breakable objects in games. There's enough loot scattered around that this isn't a big issue, but it's annoying to have something suddenly break when I'm in the middle of whaling on something. XD
How is Age of Calamity? I've noticed you've been putting serious hours into that! It'll definitely be a future purchase. BotW ties aside, I enjoyed the original HW on the Wii U.
@MarioLover92 Well...You'd have to play through that scenario eventually. But the other two are definitely more compact and lower the likelihood of getting lost.
I played more of the Project Triangle Strategy demo yesterday evening. I didn't have too many issues with the first battle, but the next one was way more difficult. I've been spoiled by how Fire Emblem and Shining Force handle turn order; all the units move in order of speed, so some enemy units can move before your next unit gets a turn. Made it hard to strategize. Also...reinforcements! Soooo many reinforcements! X_X
I attempted the battle a couple different times, but finally had to call it a night. Not sure I'll play much more; I want to move on, plus I don't oftrn spend a ton of time with demos in general. I do believe I've played enough to adequately answer the survey!
@ThanosReXXX I won't hold you to it. Anyone who does has WAY too much time on their hands. XD
@Tyranexx That's good. And yeah, the Fire Emblem games, as well as Shining Force, are the tactical RPGs I've played the most, so I'm more used to them. I did play Disgaea 5 for a little bit, since there was an NSO game trial for it. And yes, I've realized from the start that it has to be finished to move on with FFVI's story, lol.
Man, it's been a while since I played Breath of the Wild. I still have yet to beat it, but I did put a lot of time into it. I will need to see how many hearts I have so I'll be more confident in facing Calamity Ganon, lol.

@ThanosReXXX Seems with near zero doubt that we'll only be getting flying cars that are hybrids between cars and planes; not flying cars that look like cars. Doesn't really matter, because I feel like there'll be significant teething issues should they become legalised around the world. Forgive my nihilism, but here we go
First, reliability. What's to say a car won't just fail mid-flight and crash back down, killing not only a pilot but also a pedestrian? There could be a whole new level of domestic and international terrorism wherein someone remotely shuts down your engine, causing a large accident. Emphasis on "remotely", meaning it'll be harder to persecute people because they're not even there.
Second, how are governments going to impose speed limits and takeoff roads? You can't just land your car on a public road, you could get swept into traffic. So will there be runways designed to allow cars to take off and land? But there would require a ton of air traffic, and a lot of standard protocols, some of which people wouldn't want to follow.
Aircraft taxiing can take up to an hour, so it's safe to assume it could be as bad with flying cars, because more of these things would be in use in a utopian society than aircraft. If you're trying to travel across the city in a flying car taxiing would take so long that you could have driven there on the ground.
Speed limits too, and with speed limits comes new criminal penalties; such as speeding fines, collision, manslaughter, et cetera. There's also the matter of things like air "causeways", because it would be extremely dangerous to allow people to fly wherever they want, they could die in a high speed collision. Reminds me of that scene in the Jetsons movie where George gets stuck in traffic on the way to work. Ultimately if this does happen there'll be more value to using a road car instead, ironically.
Can't wait though, we'll see if humans can actually handle the responsibility. But these are humans we are talking about, and humans are silly.
@TheJGG
Flying cars are really scary thing to imagine in real life.
Imagine if suddenly your house got crashed by falling cars due to lost its fuel or the flying cars suddenly break through your house for driving in high speed and destroy your house or the burglar can easily get into your house by flying cars even you have tall fences / gates. Not to mention if two flying cars crashed in the air and the exploded materials falling on the innocent peoples.
But in my story (Planetary Xaviors), Uranus have his Anti-G board that can be transformed into giant Boomerang as his weapon.
Yall talking about flying cars but what he need is a microwave freezer that allows you to freeze stuff as fast as a microwave, Like If I want to refreeze a slush or a ice tea I had I can just freeze it without waiting a whole hour. or I want some jell-O Just freeze it for 50 sec.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!
