@ThanosReXXX Ah okay, I think it's because indigo is the GameCube's signature color. I totally won't mind having a black one. Not sure when I'd get to that, but it'd be pretty cool to own and play with. Fun fact: Hori made a Super Game Boy controller as well, and it allows you to slow down the game speed at will.

@Tyranexx Awakening was when I really started to dive into Fire Emblem as well. I have that, Sacred Stones, Echoes, and Three Houses. I did get pretty far in Awakening - just got to a really tough battle, lol. Right now, the only Shining Force game I played was the first one on the Genesis, but I'd love to get to SFII once I beat the first one.

Strangely, I'm intrigued by all the Pokémon news despite planning to never play a Pokémon game. I have heard about the crummy tactics of Game Freak, so anything not by them can be stripped of the automatic "lazy" moniker.

@NintendoByNature @WoomyNNYes Jeez, that's awful. I never went to that forum, because I'm not a massive fan of the game. I have it, and I enjoy it, but am I addicted to the point I would share my island with literal strangers, plus random children? No.

@Northwind @Silly_G @LuigibrineTheGreat I put mine in my forum signature too, but I like having a small focused group of Switch friends. It gives off a nice homely feeling, except just dozens of people online at the same time. It also could reflect on how one would treat friends in the real world, due to the disparities between so called "fake friends" and real ones.

@Tyranexx I do hope we get some older FE games like Awakening and Fates, onto Switch, so I can play them to experience the renaissance of the series. It would also appeal to Smash fans because of how often they b*tch about all the swordfighters that made it in at the expense of pipe dreams like Waluigi. Get over yourself and move on, for God's sake. Welcome to the real world, everything doesn't revolve around you.

But for people who keep an eye on the Smash fighters out of legitimate curiosity, like me, it'll provide some great exposure too. I kinda heard about the Persona series before Joker got put in as DLC for Smash, but it wasn't really his being in Smash that made me get the game. I heard so many good things about P5R, and it was on discount, for £33.29 with a steelbook. A "steel" if I do say so myself.

@Tyranexx - Ah, glad you enjoyed it! You put in some good work then to clear all the shrines and find that many seeds. I think your critiques are certainly valid, but as you mentioned; it’s so well done and the loop is so satisfying that it’s easy to look past some of the annoying aspects. Just guessing, but I think the sequel will end up having some big dungeons. In BOTW, I just kinda viewed all of Hyrule as the biggest, most expansive dungeon ever in a LOZ game.

I really enjoyed my time with AoC. I’ve also always enjoyed musou games as sort of perfect gaming snack food. If you liked HW, then you know exactly what you’re in for, though I found AoC better in every way. I wasn’t a big fan of the adventure maps in HW, and AoC takes a lot (but not all) if that content and stuffs in into story chapters and side quests. There are grindy/samey moments, but overall, it’s great. About my play time though, keep in mind I suffer from old man syndrome and can fall asleep gaming. My game hours in AoC are indicative of how long the game has been open, but a good portion of that time was me sleeping at the blacksmith’s shop.

Have you watched the Pokemon Direct just now ?

I should know better at this point. I REALLY should. It's impossible to have a conversation online about Pokemon. Especially on this site.

I just can't ever read the comments. There's no reasonable conversation to be had. I was in such a good mood after watching the presentation, then I idiotically clicked over to NintendoLife to see what people were saying, and it felt like hundreds of people pissing in my breakfast.

There are times I love the internet, and there are times I really, really, really hate it.

@Heavyarms55 Just so you know, people generally don't hate on Pokémon just to hate on it. They tend to be the most passionate fans who want the games to be better. And that's completely fine. I'm glad not all places are a hiveminds where you can't voice concerns or opinions.

You know, they were the peoples who were expecting MonHun graphics for Pokemon games. They were expecting too high and when the reality said otherwise, they started to complain for every single things.
"Oh, no. Chibi style for Sinnoh remake. Yuck!"
"Oh, damn. Cheap looking mobile games. Lazy Gamefreaks !"
Oh, looks. Cash grab remakes !"

Btw, which Pokemon games from the Direct caught your attention ?

@Anti-Matter I honestly think all 3 new titles, Snap, D/P remakes and Legends look real good. I have some concerns for each but I'm excited for them nonetheless. I'm worried Snap will be 60 dollars for a 3 hour long experience with only minor replay value, no matter how utterly gorgeous it is, I need more than that. But it does look great. I think the D/P remakes look super cute. I love how colorful they are and I find them very faithful to the source material. But I would have preferred they gone with Platinum instead. Although it's entirely possible that they'll have Platinum's features in these games too, we still don't know. I wanted the Distortion World and Battle Frontier. Legends looks awesome too. I think an open world Pokemon title is long overdue. But I need to know more about what we are actually doing. The trailer didn't show any gyms or antagonists or really hardly anything about what the game will actually have us doing.

@Octane I had originally posted a longer comment explaining how much I disagree with you and how very wrong I think you are. (especially on the hive mind thing, because it really is one, and it's very very negative).
