@Ralizah Apparently Citadel owns both Melvin Capital (the hedge fund company) and Robin hood. Smells like a lawsuit. Market manipulation at it's finest.
@HotGoomba___Rebrand Personally, I liked it. Obtaining costumes that gave my character different abilities was something I liked. Ended up using them to get past certain parts, or attack enemies. Enemies can steal your costume, but I didn't have a frustrating time getting it back as I just went back to a chest that respawned.
There was a light puzzle element where a giant ball was going to crush my character and I had to lead it to a hole to open an area. I did find the boss to be really easy to beat, my guess is it's only the first boss in the game.
I had a framerate issue during a cutscene, I'm hoping it's ironed out before release. I played the game docked. This is my experience from playing this morning.
Edit: Will admit, I didn't expect the main hub area to remind me of a Chao garden. I noticed the little creatures eating the drop collectables I collected.
@HotGoomba___Rebrand You can try it but don't think its going to look like, well anything. (You might have allready played it gussing by the comment I saw.)

@Mr-Fuggles777 I have just started watching this I saw an advert on TV for S2, I had never heard of it, I have watched all S1 and half of S2 this week doing me steps, love it, it's so good isn't it
@Eel Sad thing is, it put me in the mood for jelly-filled donuts in general. XD
No idea if any streaming services currently carry the show, but now I'm curious to see if I can find it lol.
@SM3DASislit You nailed the general format of L33T for the most part. To be honest I'm also kinda rusty, but it usually is a mix of letters and numbers. It's obviously not a true language, but it's fun to decipher!
@MarioLover92 Sounds like an awesome birthday! I've been the low-key bday sort since college lol. And what birthday isn't complete without cake? Unless one doesn't care for it of course. I tend to like most kinds, though I'm not too fond of carrot cake; I'm not a fan of whatever spice is put in it.
A little of the snow melted off before a refreeze this evening, but it's definitely sticking around until this weekend. XD
@ThanosReXXX That, and likeku die to the fact we've interacted more in general. I haven't noticed Octane floating around as much (likely until the mention anyway), at least in the threads I've been haunting. Though I haven't been visiting the forums much lately outside of responses.
Honestly, until it was mentioned otherwise some time ago, I used to be under the impression Octane was of German nationality. No idea why, might've mixed them up with a different user.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet - The Indigo Disk, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@XxSupernova8xX A friend introduced me to both of them, we watched it online over Zoom! Phantom was a very bizarre Wes Anderson-esque story, (he was a teenager when this came out originally but his artistic vision strikes me) with a very intriguing set of characters. Ultimately I was told that the actors are key to how the characters are realised, and I got probably the best first impression possible, with Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo as Christine and the Phantom. It was also a very large stage, at the Royal Albert Hall (with a cast of around three hundred), for the 25th anniversary celebrations that happened back in 2009. The whole thing was aired on YouTube on October 9th as a fundraiser, and unfortunately was only online for two days. I have to say though, that the masquerade ball after the intermission was pretty dull and didn't add much besides some vibrant costumes.
Les Misérables was a very different experience for me. Again, I watched it online, sometime in November. It wasn't a full theatrical production but rather a "visual drama"? I don't remember the specific term but it was a good spin on things. I had already seen the 2012 movie and by all accounts none of the actors in the film (Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried) were professional trained singers, yet IMO they did a pretty good job. Of course the stage version was superior on that front, and the raw acting and passion was also much more... there in a sense.
@Tyranexx@MarioLover92 I wanted to go karting at the track near me for my birthday, (at the Bahrain International Circuit), but stuff just got shut down again! My birthday was on the 18th, but I would have wanted to finish semester exams before.
I find this whole situation ironic because last year I was the only person in my family to celebrate my birthday before COVID happened, and did so by karting. Real shame but who needs karts when you can spend four hours a day in a rig playing GT Sport?
