I have a Facebook, but I only add people I know in real life (save for one pen-pal). Even then, I barely get any notifications, and when I try to chat with someone, or if I share something awesome (like Nintendo news, followed by "OMG, this is so awesome, I can't wait for this!!!", or something of the like) they usually ignore me.
