@ThanosReXXX The Diving game is not for me and the cartoony sniper game as well but Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition which you listed is looking awesome!
@Zuljaras Well, in that case you will also want to look into Sniper Elite V2 remastered and Sniper Elite V4, both available on the platform of your choice.
All the Sniper Elite games are equally brilliant and entertaining.
By the way: on Xbox and probably also on PlayStation, you can download a free demo of Sniper Elite V2, so you can try before you buy.
@ThanosReXXX I never understood those "Try before buy".
As I see it it if I buy a game I KNOW it is for me no matter of Frames per second of muddy graphics. Still it is cool to have those for people who like to try the games.
And I never understood trade-ins. Probably because I am sworn collector
Sweet...! 😀
My logo design of Ice Skate Boxing and Avian Kickboxing are almost done.
Just need some fixes on some parts.
I cannot tell what are the logo names.
Wait until i release my calendars 2021.
@Zuljaras Well, I don't understand why you WOULDN'T make use of a free demo if the option is available. And the demo is of a specific level, which is a lot of fun to play, and it's free, so I don't see the issue here, but to each their own, I guess. It was just a friendly suggestion, after all.
EDIT:
And I didn't mean try before you buy because of graphics and/or frame rate, but more in terms of the demo being able to give you a good idea of the gameplay and if it clicks with you. A video can only do so much to convey that, so a hands-on is always preferable and superior to that, especially concerning the immersion part of it.
@WoomyNNYes Well, I've only played MudRunner for a bit, but I have spent months, no years with MudRunner's predecessor, SpinTires, and it's pretty much the same thing, only new vehicles and environments.
If there's anything you'd want to know about the game, feel free to ask. If it seems even remotely interesting to you, then I can quite easily recommend it, especially at it's current price.
@Zuljaras Back in those days, I also played those demos. Makes it all the weirder why you seem to be opposed to it today...
As for the Sniper Elite V2 demo: I've personally had a great time with it, and I've played it many, many times, before finally getting the full game. Like you, I prefer physical over digital whenever possible, and at that moment in time, I had some financial troubles, so getting new games was the lowest item on my list of things to get or do, so the demo really helped out in that regard as well, because I could at least play part of the game, without having to spend a single dime...
'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'
@ThanosReXXX That is very good point! I did not think about that! That is why I played those nice demos back then.
I am not opposed. I just do not use the demos anymore. Nowadays I just get the games I want. And digital PC games are EXTREMELY cheap.
I mean I got Heroes of Might and Magic 1 to 5 + Heroes Chronicles (all expansions etc.) for just 15$. On GOG all my games are under 5$ each but they are all staples of enjoyment
Man that brought me back to my early PC gaming days with Quake 2 and 3, Warcraft 2 and StarCraft!!!
@ThanosReXXX
Oh, i have 1question for you about Kinect.
How do i pause the game when playing Kinect games ?
Can i use normal Xbox 360 controller to pause the game or should i make a hand gesture to pause the game ?
@Anti-Matter Both is possible. Also depends on the game, but in general, the regular controller always works (edit: or rather, should always work) for in game menus and so on, even if the game itself is Kinect-only. Depending on how long you've been playing though, the regular controller will have switched off, to save battery life, so you'd probably have to switch the controller on again by pressing the center Xbox button. But that's only a minor issue, if you can really call it an issue at all.
@ThanosReXXX
Ah...
So for just in case, i need to prepare Xbox 360 controller near of me to pause the game anytime.
Do you have Xbox Classic (OG XBOX) ?
I found a lot XBOX Classic games have support 16:9 display.
So for my case, DDR Ultramix 1 - 4 have 4:3 and 16:9 display option from what i saw from Youtube. The 4:3 ratio made the arrows looked stretched left and right but the 16:9 ratio made the arrows easier to read as 16:9 are the ratio that being used on DDR arcade started from DDR X Arcade with wide screen.
@Heavyarms55 The news on Jesse and James sticking around a bit longer came across my Google news feed. I probably would've caught wind of it eventually though; the local PoGo Discord channel is pretty good about keeping everyone informed of interesting game updates.
On the van getting totaled: Physically, I was fine. Mentally/emotionally...Not so much lol. I thought my parents were gonna kill me. It wasn't totaled in the usual "torn to shreds" sense; to look at it in passing, nothing appeared wrong! I was a senior in HS and went to watch a late movie with a friend who had already graduated (Avatar, actually). Driving home, I drove through an intersection that wasn't well-lit at the time, not helped by the fact my headlights weren't the brightest (Didn't know then that they gradually dim over time). I turned too narrowly and went over a dividing curb. Normally this wouldn't have harmed the van as it sat fairly high, but the problem is I drove over the bolts where a sign indicating the curb was there had been; I learned later that said sign had been down for about a week from another accident, and the Department of Transportation hadn't replaced it yet. Said bolts cut right through the transmission fluid pan. I thought I'd navigated the "bump" just fine until the van started making odd thumping noises. I pulled into a nearby parking lot, killed the engine, saw the trail of fluid, and proceeded to freak out. Thankfully said friend's mother and younger sister had been to see a different movie, were following me, and saw the whole thing, so her mother helped me manage everything with the police and drove me home.
To this day, I'm sure the only reason I wasn't ticketed was because that sign was down to begin with. But I was so nerved up at that point that I didn't believe my eyes and started thinking I might've hit the sign too. Considering I messed up a pretty major component, plus the age of the van, we had to declare it totaled.
@ThanosReXXX You've highlighted one of the pitfalls I alluded to. It's a shame information can't just be downloaded into a human's brain. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink it....
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@Tyranexx Ouch. Sounds a lot like when I was in an accident but wasn't ticketed. I side swiped a semi truck that was driving at night illegally with no running lights on the bed in an area with no street lights.
But it left me terrified of driving for weeks afterwards.
I am glad you were hurt, but totally understand the mental/emotional stuff!
I should look and see if there is a local PoGo discord group I could join too. Good idea!
Speaking of Go, I had bonkers luck today! I woke up to the kid knocking on my door eagerly to tell me tentacool and Cubchoo are spawning now. So I humor him and log on to check, first Pokemon I tap is a shiny tentacool! And as if that weren't enough, not even 10 minutes later? Shiny Jigglypuff!
Suddenly I didn't mind getting woken up early. Lol

I suppose they realized there was a problem with the spawns for that event because now I'm getting bombarded with grass type starters and other pokemon.
