@ThanosReXXX BTW, when I was describing what they're doing to where I live I forgot to mention that everything they're building is designed specifically for "upper income millennials" complete with in-building Yoga, cooking lessons (because if you're rich and 25 you've never actually made a pancake before) etc.
@Anti-Matter - Do watch Kung Fu movies? Maybe the monkey could practice Iron Monkey style. Maybe a toad character who practices toad style from Kung Fu Hustle?
@bimmy-lee
The animals i used for my Animal Boxers are : (leaked here) 🤭 East side: Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Horse, Monkey, Dog West side: Bear, Lion, Skunk, Deer, Kangaroo, Wolf
@Anti-Matter - Oof, it’s tough for me to pick a side. They’re evenly matched, and I like animals on both sides. Dog pushes me over the top for East Side though. That’s who I’ll rep. East Side 4 Lyfe. This rep won’t stop til the casket drops. I liked Biggie a lot more than Pac, so that’s a factor as well.
@Anti-Matter Love the art, as usual. Especially the skunk. Looks like a muscular boxer Pepe Le Pew!
@bimmy-lee It's no problem at all; it'd be remiss of me to think that everyone and their cousin has played through the games. I've been with them since my youth but have never been what some consider a "hardcore" player. I don't have time to build a maxed out competitive team and collect all the 'Mon in this day and age. I'm usually just content on going on the adventure and catching/raising my favorites these days.
I'm in the same boat as you with Animal Crossing. I've never played a game in the series. I'm sure it's something I'd like, but it wasn't one I grew up with. Plus I'm afraid my OCD to try and keep everything up to date would drive me nuts lol. I'm a micromanager at times.
@Anti-MatterUnderstanding forums - lesson #1.357: just because people aren't (immediately) reacting to every comment you post, doesn't mean that something is wrong or that you are forgotten and/or overlooked. Sometimes, people just don't feel like reacting to each and every comment that's posted.
Really nothing to worry or cry about there.
@NEStalgia WHAT? No sauna? Now where's my napalm stash?
@ThanosReXXX Actually that forum detail applies to everyone but you and @Anti-Matter. Yeah, it's real strange but in subsection C. Paragraph 247, line 12 of Understanding forums - lesson #1.357: it states "This rule does not apply specifically to ThanosREXXX and Anti-Matter on NintendoLife"
For a long time I was curious what that was about. Then I joined this site. See, for you two in paticular, your very existence is tied to your forum popularity. If people stop responding entirely, you will actually fade away...
So keep stirring the pot!

@ThanosReXXX - Thanks for the reply, I thought you were ignoring me. I didn’t know about that trashy Brie Larson comment section until I saw you mention it. Now I want to bleach my eyes.
@Tyranexx - Haha, yes, my only reservation about Animal Crossing is whether it will be fun/relaxing, or make me go insane. I got into a bad place with an aquarium game on the Wii. Had to check in on my fish every day and feed them. Had. To.
So I’ve been home a bit and fooled with Jack. He is doing much better than yesterday. He’s still a little tilted, but he drank, ate, made it to the litter without falls or wobbles. And he just went and jumped up on the library day bed. Hopefully it’ll pass whatever it was. Like a person getting a vertigo spell.
Now to try out the Humphrey Bogart in smash.

@HobbitGamer i missed your post about Jack yesterday . I'm wondering if it could have been a slight stroke, based on my former cat. Might want to get him to a vet. In my cats case it was similar sounding and was caused by a tumor in his ear.
@NEStalgia Oh mercy. Well I was at the vet’s getting Rocky’s monthly triheart on my way home, and described everything. They said if he hasn’t improved by Friday to bring him in. They know I’m pretty particular about my baby boy’s health, so I’m a little at ease for the moment.
But yes, I had read that a tumor in the vestibular system can be a cause. This is also a cat that had a fever for two days at one time and they couldn’t determine why. So he’s just weird like a human. But I still worry and love hims.

@bimmy-lee Something similar happened to me with Nintendogs on the DS back in the day. I had to feed, walk, and train my eternally young pooches every day. Thankfully they can't die, but man did I feel bad going back to them at one point just to check after several months....
@HobbitGamer Hope your cat is alright. I guess if he is acting normally, whatever happened has passed. You sometimes don’t know with cats since, they have a very stubborn and passive attitude even if something is wrong.
@Tyranexx - It’s a strange feeling to think that virtual pets depend on us. I don’t take the responsibility lightly after killing a friend’s Tomagotchi in high school when she put me in charge of it for a week. I’ve always wanted to play a Nintendogs game, I hope there’s one on Switch eventually. There’s a virtual pets game on the eShop, but it didn’t review well.
@NotTelevision Thanks yo. Yeah Jack is even harder to gauge cuz he’s not capable of being very vocal. But I caught him napping on his favorite spot earlier.
I had a blast with Seaman! I never got around to trying the Hey You Pikachu game, did you?

@NotTelevision - No, but I would love to play it. My time with access to a Dreamcast was brief, and I didn’t know about it then. I’m positive I would love it. One of the weirdest, funniest people I know said it’s the funniest, weirdest game he’s ever played.
I've never played any of those pet-simulation games. No Seaman, Nintendogs or Hey You Pikachu. It just never seemed like a game to me, but rather a cash grab to hook people who traditionally don't buy games.
But I have to imagine, with how many we've gotten over the years, there is probably more to it than that. I just don't really know what.

I never have played Seaman but have seen quite a bit of footage. That's probably one of the weirdest uses for an actor's voice acting of all time.
@bimmy-leeNintendogs wasn't bad at all, though it wore out its welcome eventually. It was one of those games that was such a novelty until kid me finally grew tired of it. I never bothered with the series on the 3DS even though they added felines into the mix.
There were some Nintendo flavors to stuff your pets would find, such as a Mario hat. The best thing was still a RC Mario Kart that you could move around with the DS's buttons while your dog(s) chased it.
