Just a Reminder from me if you never heard about Re:Legend, a cute Harvest Moon style RPG game created by Malaysian developer Magnus Games, published by 505 Games
The game has been released on Steam as Early Access since August 2019. The console version will be later like My Time at Portia.
@ThanosReXXX Fear not, I already have that and all of the DLC packs! Played it quite a bit over the past Winter/Spring.
Sadly some of them are PC-only still Still waiting for the CSX Heavy Haul pack that will never come. The game is also buggy as heck. Par for simulators, but tons of times you complete objectives and it doesn't actually register...you have to reset and start again.
@HobbitGamer Nono, in the game, you complete objectives and it doesn't register it and you have to do it all over again. In real life you just don't complete the objectives at all, or at least not within the allotted space of time. Totally different.
@NEStalgia Ah, and here I thought I had something new and interesting to show you, but I should have known that you'd probably found this game already...
Maybe something a little bit different, then:
Or is that also something that you own/have played already?

@RR529 I did. Still trying to figure out if that was a drug or a brothel.
The insinuation is that they massage the player character with their chest. It's a long running Dragon Quest gag (it's been in almost every game in some capacity), and there are many characters throughout XI who'll offer it. However, while that first one may be legitimate, almost all the others are fake outs of some sort (I don't want to ruin the funnier ones, but a common one is that they'll admit that they were applying makeup to your face). As well, I believe one of your later female party members (as well as some female monsters) can learn it as an in game move that temporarily charms male opponents.
I think it originated as Toriyama humor, as in the first arc of Dragon Ball, it's what Roshi asks Bulma for in exchange for putting out the fire on that mountain (though she has Oolong stand in for her).

The bunny outfits/"dancing girls" is a running theme in DQ as well....
I can back up this fact as they've been quite prevalent in DQ IV. Even the Mod Rod can turn your whole party into them. XD
@ThanosReXXX It's about four miles (or a little over six kilometers) to the nearest place that serves pizza from my house...if you count gas station pizza. Unfortunately it's not entirely safe to walk or ride that full distance since it includes a busy highway.
We really do need more bike lanes around here (A few do exist, but only in the very heart of town and out at some local trails). Then I'd consider actually investing in a bike again. Haven't had one since I was a kid.
@NEStalgia Why? It's pretty much sim city or theme park but with trains. Nothing weird or mock-worthy about it, if you ask me. Unless of course it's people that already frown upon grown-up men playing with trains...
@Tyranexx I was just kidding about the jogging bit, but now that you mention that, I wouldn't even feel safe with a bike or motor. Cars it is, then.

Back at the airport after the intensive 2.5 hour interview. Enjoying a nice Sam Adams Octoberfest while I wait for my hour delayed flight. I think i did good for the most part. I really liked 2 of the guys, 1 was ok, the other 2 were really pushy and intense. Quite frankly, very intimidating. And all of them would in some form be a boss for me. The 1 guy who set this up I really like, and i wish all the guys could be like him, but I'm worried it's too much of a corporate in your face culture which im not used to..i came from that and im I'm no rush to get back to. I haven't received an offer yet but I'll know in a couple days. The guy who referred me to interview said everyone was impressed with me so we'll see. Thanks for those who wished me luck.
I had Railroad Tycoon 3 on the PC at one point as a kid. I didn't play it very much as I found it kind of hard and less fun than other simulation games I had played.
@ThanosReXXX I can definitely walk that distance if I'm up for a true workout; the danger and lack of any significant shade on
most of that route just makes it less appealing. XD
@NintendoByNature Thanks for the update! Sounds like you've earned that Sam Adams; enjoy every drop! Take comfort in the fact that you did your best...no matter the outcome. It's another experience under your belt.
I'm not sure if I'd appreciate corporate culture either. The difference with me is that I've only seen how it works from the outside; my current place of employment is big with multiple offices scattered around, but we definitely aren't a corporate environment.

Speaking of corporate culture though I really feel like I was born manners-wise in the wrong time period (obviously as an AA in the US I don't long for the past by ANY means, half of the time the present is trying although nothing like what my parents and back went through.) but I really wish that people weren't so crass or rude. I have a coworker that is very popular with other coworkers and he has a terrible personality as a person. I know I'm a "wet blanket" or whatever the common insult is for treating others with respect and common decency but everything he says is an insult or sexist comment, I'm in IT so mostly men so of course they think its funny. I pretty much just live in headphones so I don't have to deal with him as much as possible. However I really, REALLY want to wash his mouth out with soap.
I don't understand the current opinion that being crass is more realistic/honest/natural, if your natural personality is to insult and belittle others and hide behind "it's my sense of humor, don't judge me" or curse at work, I really want nothing to do with you. (I mean you wouldn't say those things to our investors usually ...I know that the suits are usually the worst behind closed doors.)
I'd hoped once I entered my 30's things would improve and professionalism would be more commonplace as I moved away from entry level jobs, but alas, that is not the case. I feel like the more I move up the worse it gets. Granted I've never worked with mostly women, so I keep the hope that such an environment would be a little better, but I doubt it. I suppose between being a born and bred Southerner, and years of dealing with Japanese Dojo (plural, there is no plural form of Japanese words and it drives me nuts when people slap an s on things) as well as modeling much of my life on bushido what I long for is a pipe dream..for others at least. I shall continue to refine myself. I think I'll buy some better headphones with some of my bonus this year.

On Dragon Quest Builders 2, you can wear Bunny Girl outfits regardless your gender, also you can make your NPCs wear Bunny Girl outfits too. If you feel naughty, you can even build a Night Club with some Beers, Poker cards, Neon cubes, Babs sign, Dancing spot and Metal Pole. Put some Bunny gals inside the Club and make them dancing near of the pole with Neon cubes around them. 😆
