Well, if you ever encounter any dark and foreboding grasslands in a video game, or any post-modern/New-Age grasslands, where every blade of grass wears varying styles of sunglasses and black beret hats, be sure to let us all know so we can write sternly-written letters to these game studios for not writing appropriate-sounding music.

Otherwise, you're complaining about composers doing their job. There's not a lot of other emotions one can associate with open grassland without specific context. It's wide-open space with green grass and the occasional tree, how could you not find that peaceful and/or freeing?

Oh, I thought you were complaining that there wasn't enough variety. Backround music is all about emotion, as far as I can tell. So...I dunno, maybe focus on what kind of emotion you want the audience to feel in that area, in terms of what they will likely encounter, what's in the backround (especially if its a platformer), the characters and their connections, and how connected you'd expect the audience to be to those connections - re: the grasslands in 2D platformers are often early stages, so you usually want the player to feel invited into your game-world, or excited for things to come. That's one of the reasons for those two "flavors", I think.

Yesterday I found a zip lock bag of vomit, today, near the outside of the bathroom at work, I found a diaper that had the number 2 in it. The trash cans were both empty, the ones in the men's and women's bathroom, so DAT mean DAT someone just cleaned their baby, and just walked outside of the bathroom, and just dropped it there on purpose. Of course, the swelltastically swelltastic kangaroo gets to clean up THESE, and @Nimkip gets the WINSTION Yeti costume, K.

Where I'm at, it'll be New Years in a couple of hours. 2016 has its good moments and bad moments, but overall it was a pretty decent year.

Honestly, leaks are getting super boring now. It was fun and risque for the first month or two, but the funs worn off for me. I think I'll distance myself from them a bit, before I get burned out again.

Honestly, if a leak was accurate, the official announcement should still be more detailed. Assuming you have other ways to spend your free time, then yes, I'd agree that distancing yourself from them would be a smart decision...like, in general. Throwing that out to everyone, now.

Agreed. Even my jokes about going bankrupt from buying salt are starting to get pretty stale. I'm planning on distancing myself from further rumor articles until after the event next week. I'd also rather be surprised than to have everything spoiled for me. So far I've been doing well to avoid Sun/Moon story spoilers.
