This film made me a fan of Captain America. My favorite just went from Iron Man to Captain America.

How could you not be a fan of Cap's his movie is the best one, Its like not liking spider-man or superman.

I kinda liked Ghost Rider better than Captain American to be honest.

I still want to see this movie but I think they've stopped showing it at my local cinema. Maybe one day... when it comes out on DVD in a few months time.

I was really hoping the next round of movies would build the foundation for superhero registration and an eventual Civil War crossover, but it is probably too early for that and definitely would take a lot more work than putting together a movie with what they've teased. I'm hoping the next Iron Man movie explores the darker side of Tony Stark and his bouts with alcoholism.

Also, has anyone here played Super Hero Squad? I played the first one on DS and picked up the 3DS version a short while back.

Watching the Avengers tonight!

I saw the movie right after I saw the Avengers... and I like Superman...

My wife and I went and saw it a week or so ago. It was great! I'd only seen Iron Man 1 and 2 and The Incredible Hulk, but it was fine - the Avengers was self-contained enough for us to follow along, and the humour throughout was well done.

The only weird part was all the people clapping at the end. I'd only encountered it once before I moved to the USA (and that was at an artsy cinema) but it seems it's quite common over here for some reason.

Most likely will. I remember hearing about the producers wanting the third movie to be based on the Demon in the Bottle story line.

I hope so. They almost started to get into that in IM2, but that movie was just a mess (not so much bad as just all over the place).

demon in the bottle was done with the drunk party scene in iron man 2. Its already been confrimed that Iron Man 3 is Extermis.

But Extremis is an origin story, right? How they gonna work that in?

Well the story was part origin and then went beyond that as the story makes references to past events like the Avengers and fing fang foom after the forging stuff is covered. And in the timeline it takes place between founding of the new avengers and civil war.

The Extremis arc might be tough to pull off well, but would be very cool. Also, regarding the origin-part of the Extremis arc, that's pretty much what they based the origin off of in the first Iron Man movie (in part), so it would fit.

Oh, Okay. So it's more than an origin story, and it would fit. Okay.

Some of the casting is for people who were in that story arc though it will probably be a loose adaption because Manadrin is rumored to be in it. I personally want me some fing fang foom.

Also ant-man should start shooting late this year or early next year. And the mockingbirdTV show should start filming along with the Jessica Jones show if its re-picked up.
