Topic: The Avengers Thread

I cant wait for this movie my biggest thing is I am upset that they got rid of Edward Norten for Bruce Banner but other than that I cant wait for it.

lol this is a movie I want to see.

I'm hoping it will be good but I'm afraid with all the characters that the movie is going to lose focus. Also, Hawkeye has always sucked.

Spiderman 3 rings a bell there.

The Incredible Hulk (2008) is the only movie from the "Marvel Cinematic Universe" I haven't seen, and since they're replacing Bruce Banner's actor it still doesn't feel very essential to me and I'll probably never watch it. But too bad if Edward Norton was really good in it and now he's not in this movie.

To watch hulk now. Its great and by that logic different artist drawing people different makes it stupid or the 007 films are non essential.

But yeah behind TDKR this is my most anticaoted movie of the summer.

Scar Jo is leather is enough reason to watch.

That and her and hawkeye look out of places in the group shot.

So who else is seeing this today?

I think my wife and I will go see it tonight. Looking forward to it!

I saw it last weekend. To be honest, I really thought this would be a disappointment since it had the hype of 5 movies backing it up.... Glad I was wrong. I won't spoil anything, but I have to say all characters got their fair share of screentime glory and they nailed the character build up. Plus, the villain... you got to love him. Overall, this film took me by surprise for the best and I wasn't alone, by the time the movie ended, I was surprised to see a standing ovation... twice since I watched it again. I never had witnessed this since the re release of star wars. So everyone, please give this movie a go.

I saw it Wednesday night at a special screening I thought it was very good, if you don't already know make sure to stay about 3 minutes after the credits start for a special scene I'm not sure if there is anything after the credits though.

Is the after credit scene really important. Most people wont even know who that person is and having that person as the Gillian for thenext movie might be a bad idea.

The credit scene does show an important character and a que for what you'll expect for the next film. As for any scene after that... no there isn't. I sat through the whole credits and nothing popped up.

There's another scene its not attached to the international, preview, or early screenings. The after credits scene is only on the American version and its nothing story related. Just the team sitting in a Brooklyn diner eating in costume after the invasion.

I haven't seen it yet, but I just read Joss Whedon wrote the script so now watching this movie is mandatory.

It's awesome! I saw it over a week ago.

@Gamesake He co-wrote the script, yes, but he also directed it. (And yes, it does contain oodles of his trademark humor.)

Best movie ever, pretty much. Can't wait to see it again on Sunday.

Planning on seeing this tommorrow. I am so psyched; i've pretty much been waiting for this movie since i was 10 (which, as those of you who know how old i am are probably aware, is longer than some of you have even been alive )
