64 I use Mario, Melee I use Fox, Brawl I use Toon Link.
I also don't agree with Tier Lists.
Who does? Every character is good when used right.
I feel the same about the Pokemon community; alot of people overuse the same Pokemon (like Dragonite, Garchomp, and Hydreigon), but every Pokemon is good, under the right conditions.
Someone linked to a rumor that Smash 4 would be announced at E3. It also reveals that every other Nintendo game you could possibly want is coming out. Some people just don't know how to properly make up a rumor.
My favorites... SSB: Ness/Samus. SSBM: Jiggly/Samus. SSBB: Claus/Jiggly/Samus.
It is hard to pick favorites though. Dedede is my second most played character, but I don't do particularly well with him. Think I'm going to try bringing my Melee characters back and have the king sit on the bench for awhile.
Anyone have any good records in the solo modes? Or tips? I can't beat Boss Battle on Intense. Got to the final boss multiple times and died in one hit because he is ridiculous. I set a new personal record on Cruel Brawl today, 22 as Claus. Very impressive, I know. It was the first time I'd ever gotten so far that a character actually came out. Didn't know that would happen, and Kirby surprised me with a quick spike/meteor smash/whatever you call it. So much for that.
Turtle, we should try Cruel Brawl next time. I like Endless, too, but Cruel... well, I just have a fascination with stupidly hard games. Jump, too, if you're interested in Multi-Man Brawls.
Olimar and Dedede are pretty high up there, actually. Early on in Brawl's life, Dedede was one of the very top. I need to look up some Olimar videos some time to see exactly how that guy is supposed to be good, but Dedede is pretty straightforward.
His forward+B might seem useless since it's so random, but even when you throw a Waddle Dee, that is good cover for projectiles. Waddle Doo stuns a character if he can land his attack (and who ever pays attention to Waddle Doo when there's a giant penguin swinging a hammer at you?), giving you the opportunity to land a smash or the charged down+B. And the spikey guy can give you some unexpected KOs.
His attack that eats the opponent is useful because you can eat them, drop off the edge, spit them out under the stage, then float back up. That's dangerous (and yes, Jump, cheap... but a penguin's got to do what a penguin's got to do). Toss a heavy damage smash attack and an easy chain grab on top of this, plus whatever exploits the more obsessive have come up with, and he's a contender.

I bought Brawl yesterday and it won't work all it does is give me disc read error after disc read error, but the disc is scratch-less and all my other wii and gc games work perfectly fine :/
@Rukiafan23 - That's because SSBB is a dual-layer game. You're Wii can't always read the disc correctly because of that. Here in Finland you can send your Wii to Nintendo without any costs and get it back capable of running Brawl correctly. I suppose it is like that everywhere. I have been lazy and haven't sent my Wii to Nintendo as for me the problem only occurs in Subspace Emissary mode and I already beat it 100% as it didn't crash every time when I was playing.

Nice! My best is 13 with Marth. :/

On another note, Olimar is good because he's fast and has some pretty tough smash attacks. His Up+B also calls for some pretty good edgehogging tactics. I used to main him, but now I only play with him every once in awhile.

Honestly, I'd give up the spikey guys for more regular Dooage. I like to have one Waddle Doo out whenever possible for the chance stunning. I'm not sure what Turtle is talking about specifically. He plays Toon Link and Falco though, and I know I always throw stuff at him in those cases so my minions can take the shots instead. Sometimes it's good to be the king.
@Adam, I was trying to recover from the ledge and I saw you running by. I tried rolling on and jumping over you but right when I rolled on the stage, the Waddle Doo stunned me and gave you enough time to charge up a smash and OHKO me. D:
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
