Ok so I managed to get my hands on the demo So now I'll give my feedback on it. The gameplay is remians the same with imporvements starting with it being more balenced from the last game and it being more ground based than last game. Here some stuff I'll go into.
Characters: You'll have 7 characters to choose from the start as well as 1 hidden character Those characters are Light, Kain, WOL, Garland, Kefka, Jecht, Sepy, and Cloud is the hidden character (Bias much Square)
Chase: Unlike last game where you almost never get hit, here it is faster than you think. When you get into a chase sequinces, you have to attack almost immediatly after you press x.
Changes to old Characters: Some characters that were generally considered bad characters have now gained buffs to balence them with the other characters. Kefka, for example can now move when using Forsaken and his brave moves are more powerful faster and have longer range.
Miselanieous: The extra damage dealt by Wall Rush has been reduced to 25% of the base damage from 50%. Critical hits now do 2x times the normal damage instead of 5x times.
