Not really. I don't really get a sense of satisfaction by doing absolutely everything in a game; I'd rather just play and enjoy the game and play it however much or little I feel like.
I 100% everything! Only a weak fool, who lack discipline! won't 100% a game. Such weakness is unforgivable!
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

Question #70: Do you like to 100% your games? Maybe just certain franchises?
For me it depends what it takes to get 100% on the game. If its a game like Zelda where 100% means getting all the items, Heart Pieces, Gold Skultulas etc. Then yes my first play through I will get 100%. Now if its a game mostly like on the Xbox that 100% means getting all the items or beating every level and getting all achievements than no. I will get all the items and play all the levels that have to do with the story and flow of the games but as achievements go I am not going to sit around and do a hundred backflips in 60 secs.

Usually not. The only game I bothered to do that was Meteos, and that's just because it was a fantastic game with relatively easy completion requirements.
Nowadays, I don't really have the time, especially when I'm not as fast as other core gamers. If I do 100% a game its normally long after I initially beat it. I 100% completed SM64DS before I played as many games as I do now. I've also replayed and 100% it again twice since then but thats a pretty rare occurence for me.
i'm pretty sure the only game i ever 100% was super mario galaxy 1.

@3DSneedsrpgs Okay, you don't like using walkthroughs but there is no need to call people who do use them morons. If people want to use walkthroughs to get through a game then thats their decision. I hate it when people arrogantly act as if their opinion is absolute and that anyone who doesn't have the same opinion is a moron or whatever else they want to call people who don't have the same opinion as them and if you're saying their morons because they need help with a game then you're still being an arrogant douche.
@mariofanatic128 and @KidChrono,sorry, looking back at that it came across kinda harsh. Sorry about that, but yeah, you probably know where i stand on that. I didn't mean to insult people.
To make sure that people don't get the wrong idea, I have NEVER yes NEVER used a walkthrough for a game. I absoloutely hate using them, what's the point of reading through how to do a game and then doing it? You accomplish nothing!
Lots of reasons: time constraints, looking to make sure you didn't miss anything, overcoming crappy or illogical puzzles (which occurs in the best of titles) and plenty more..
Anyway, I usually don't bother to 100% titles. I'd rather take that time and move onto something else.
