HUGE INSANE SPOILERS FOR A CERTAIN TITLE It was probably when I was forced to assassinate my former mentor and then took her name as my own. In that moment, you could say I felt like a big boss. /SPOILERS YOU READ IT ANYWAY DIDN'T YOU
When I finally beat Lorithia in Xenoblade chronicles. I was ecstatic when I won that boss fight after hours upon hours of level grinding and trying various party combinations with various tactics. She is definitely one of the most frustrating bosses I've ever faced!
Lorithia wasn't that hard...
Yes she was, I first fought her at level 74 and couldn't beat her until I was level 77. She was much harder than any other boss in the game for me (the 5 super bosses are probably harder though but I didn't fight them) and I haven't found any other RPG boss as hard as her. Not even the likes of Abyssion or Nebilim from ToS and TotA respectively.
Question #357: Was there ever a point in a certain Video game moment where you really held a strong emotion?
Basically a point in a game, that might've made you cry, I had a moment similar to this, minus the crying, a really deep quest chain in WoW (Don't Judge!!! The story in that game is epic!). You became friends with a little raptor while questing at around level 30, and while upon it, the raptor gets stolen by a troll, and he's really powerful, and stuns you, so you can't do anything to fight back! Later on you try to control the raptor with your mind and get the lil' guy out of the temple he's trapped in, until you get to the exit and the trolls sitting there waiting, and see's through the clever disguise. He tells you to come back when your more prepared. So you basically can't do much to help the little guy who's trapped inside until you reach the level cap; 85, and then you can go in and save her. It's a quite intriguing story in itself but overall the Warcraft lore is awesome because of how it all ties together! Wait where were we you say? This is the question of the day? Oh... right, continue on then!
5 DAYS Until the QotD Anniversary!! I've prepared something special for the occasion! Don't miss out!
Formerly PurpleLink, RedLink & OrdonianLink Getting a Gold Mushroom on Rainbow Road is just asking to lose! Backloggery Question of the Day
My first playthrough of Suikoden II back in the day, right after your army goes through that epic three-part battle (man oh man it took me forever to get through it that first time because i hadn't used a guide and i was woefully unprepared!). The next part of the story has you go to sign a treaty with someone very special to the main character, and what happens next... I have never been so angry with a fictional character in all my born days. For the decisions he made, I still hate him now. I think the strong emotions this game triggered for me is why it's still one of my all-time favorite games even now. :3

Not really a moment, but I did have a personal attachment to Yoshi's Island. Everything I loved about platformers as a child was there presented in its most purest form. I only cried because I realized I sold my SNES and had no chance of playing it... that is until I got it for the ambassador program. Finishing the game again recently and seeing the stork carry the two babies to their home gave me a strong sense of nostalgic fuzziness that I couldn't help but feel emotional. I know its a bit lame to feel this way on a light hearted story, but I'm sure some people would feel this way if they revisited they most cherished childhood past times.
Crisis Core FFVll ending was kinda of a tear jerker for me. And I had so much rage in the game Chameleon Twist 2's first boss.... only because i didnt really undersrand thy game.

To to name one off the top of my head, I always felt pretty victorious on Star Fox 64, when I would send that train into the enemies base. It was one of those 'feel good' moments.

MAJOR TALES OF THE ABYSS SPOILERS I've seen many sad moments in games but Tales of the Abyss is definitely the saddest game I've played with the scenes after Akzeriuths destruction, Guy's flashback and Ion's death but none of those made me feel as sad as when Luke almost died. Even though, I knew they wouldn't kill off the main character like that but it was executed so well. After the scenes that happened in Daath, I really wanted to go back to the Tower of Rem to see what would happen but it was 4:00 in the morning and I had college the next day so I saved and came off. Throughout the next day thoughts of how I didn't want Luke to die kept going through my head and when I finally got to play it again, it wasn't long before I saw the scene where he almost died and it was the most heart wrenching scene I've seen.
