Why would someone want themselves to be banned?!

So they can trust themselves to stay away from this site (presumably because it can be addicting), like TBD said.

So they ask TBD to ban them... Then how do they get back on?

Wow its as if vay himself used you to deliver that message. Now I'm scared!

@Tendoboy: some of our users have asked to have their accounts banned so that they won't be tempted to log on to NL for a variety of reasons, though school is usually the main one. Vay in particular has self-banned a couple times iirc, so hopefully he'll be back soon. :3

But how do they contact you (or the other moderators) to lift the ban? Do they just make another account?

Excuse me for bringing my departure up again, but...there is no turning back now. I am leaving this site, just as I am leaving gaming itself. Change is good, and I welcome it. There are times in which old relationships with people or things must perish when you´re not feeling right about them anymore.

I already have put my Wii 32 games up for sale. Again, thanks for the many laughs, the great discussions, plus of course the excellent reviews, articles and moderation by the people of NintendoLife.
