There's seriously nothing I'm looking forward to. 2012 has some good stuff lined up but everything on the horizon for this year is either a comic book adaptation, a sequel, or a lazy animated cash-in.

Deathly Hallows Pt 2 is all that's exciting me before Oscar season.

For the rest of this year Im currently interested in Battle: Los Angeles, Sucker Punch (Anyone seen those two yet?).

I've seen Battle: Los Angeles and it's a pretty sweet action popcorn flick. Don't go into it expecting anything intellectual and you'll probably love it too.

I've been trying to catch Sucker Punch with a few coworkers but we haven't been able to coordinate schedules. I'm getting ready to say "screw it" and catch it solo. Samurais, zombies, dragons, guns, swords, hot chicks, oh my...

Yo folks, gonna need some help.

For English, I'm needing to get me related texts.
I am doing Institution and Dr. Faustus, and I have One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Dr. Faustus/The Picture of Dorian Gray (all novels) respectively, and I now need some films to aid them.

Yeh Sucker Punch is the ultimate male film and Vanessa Hudgens Looks VERY HOT. Its kinda confusing but once you get your head round the plot it gets really enjoyable. Wont ruin too much but has a shock ending. Also yeh Im gonna watch Battle Los Angeles tonight so fingers cross it doesn't disappoint

What do you need help with exactly? Trying to figure out what movies that are similar or something?

@Navi
For Dr. Faustus, check out "Angel Heart" starring Mickey Rourke and Bob De Niro. It's a film from 1987 which got a lot of shock publicity at the time for featuring naked Lisa Bonet (then of The Cosby Show), including an intensely graphic sex scene. But the story itself has a cool take on the Faustian-bargain premise. Great imagery and cinematography — it's directed by Alan Parker, who also did the "Pink Floyd: The Wall" film. One of my personal favorite films, and a very rare occasion of the movie being in many ways better than the novel it was orginally based on (Falling Angel by William Hjortsberg).

Not really. I havent liked the Fast and the Furious series since Tokyo Drift the only reason I want to see this one is to see Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson go at it lol,

@Andy Really? Suckerpunch was enjoyable? The first bit where she 'dances' is all fine and dandy, but after that it's just boring.

also why the hell is hogwarts in mordor?

Suckerpunch was lame! When I first started watching it was ok but after she dances I got bored of the movie and stopped watching >.<, I could stand no more.

@JafriYakin, I'm not looking forward to the next Fast and the Furious 5 movie at all.

She doesn't even dance. It could have been such a great film. The opening sequence was so good, but just started going downhill from there.

Yeah your right she doesn't even dance. Also I hated the fact that when supposedly she starts dancing she goes to a different realm#!@!!$! That's what did it for me. When I saw the trailer I thought that they were in the real world fighting trying to escape that horrible like prison and not in some dream, also how did her friends even get inside her dream? And did that guy really kill her sister? I was so confused at that point.

@The people who don't understand Sucker Punch, I posted this before:

First of all, the movie wasn't complicated. It can be divided into three main "worlds":

1. The real world. Anything that takes place in the insane asylum is real.

2. The "Theater World". This was all in Baby Doll's mind. Blue underhanded the asylum management and was able to do whatever the hell he wanted with the girls. More likely than not, in the real world, he was raping them. To escape that pain, Baby Doll created that false reality of having to dance for clients. In reality the girls were being taking advantage of, in Baby Doll's mind they were able to play the men like harps.

3. The "Action World(s)". These were just there to be awesome, honestly. Instead of just showing Baby Doll dance while the other girls got the item, she fantasized about them doing truly epic things to get them.

EDIT: Oh, and the sister. I don't think she even existed. She's Sweet Pea's rebellious side that made her run away from home in the first place.
