Topic: Mac OS X Lion, Windows 8, or Linux Umbutu?

What do you think looks better, and feels better?

EDIT: I've been looking online, and it seems like it's shaping up to be Windows 8, Mac OS X Lion, and Linux Umbutu. Linux is actually stepping their game up this generation, and almost compares to Windows 7.

Windows 8 is annoying if you don't have a touch screen PC/Laptop/Tablet.
But if you do Windows 8 is better (Apart from the tiles... I dislike them)

I'll take OS X Lion any day of the week. They'll have to pry this Macbook from my cold, dead hands. Fact.

@corbs OS X is superior to windows in every way, however they are expensive o.O

Actually OS X is cheaper... a lot cheaper. But I'm guessing you mean Mac's.
Windows 8 is a hassle to use with a mouse though, especially with the tiles being the first thing it gives you :/ Apart from that it's not bad.
They should have jut made Windows 8 for tablets though.

Just to clear the air I am not an Apple fanboy before anyone says it.
In all truthfulness I actually prefer Ubuntu Linux.

I haven't tried Windows 8 yet, but I don't think I could stand it. And I know that is the case for OS X. It simply doesn't behave the way I want my OS to in any way and there is now way to change parts of it to do so.

Instead, and I know this wasn't really the question asked but I can't resist, I'd vote for Ubuntu Linux.

Microsoft's blog on windows 8. they're pushing waycmore innovation then lion did. both on the consumer and power User/enterprise side.

@shingi_70 I haven't tried the latest one but I'll do so now. Sorry, it's just that when I used it it was almost unbearable. Also very true, all Lion did was add and IOS type dashboard.

Question: Does Lion have touchscreen support for LaunchPad?

OSX Lion looks too much like iOS, it seems like Apple is trying to find a single "look" to their OS platforms (just like Microsoft is doing with it's "Metro" interface).

Haven't used a Windows OS later than XP (which I hate with a passion), but I love my Lion iMac. Still has some kinks that need to be worked out, but it's pretty sweet all around.

I have a Windows 7 touchscreen laptop and I want to upgrade to Mac OS X Lion. But once I heard about Windows 8, I'm having second thoughts. I've had a long history with Windows, but I want a Mac badly... god this is hard...
