@Zeldafan79 I'm very sorry for your loss... From my own experience, the pain doesn't ever completely go away but it will get easier. Do your best to make it through each day and stay strong.
I don't know if you are a religious person, but I would like to include you and your loved ones in my thoughts and prayers 😇
@Zeldafan79 These moments in life when we lose loved ones can be so confusing. I'm sad for your loss and pain, but I'm happy that you are reaching out to this community for some modicum of healing. We may not be able to fill any void or heal pain, but we can at least offer kindness. It's hard to say, but when one of my students shot and killed himself at his house, he was only 13. It shook me to the point where I needed a lot of help. I'm not saying this for pity, but to reaffirm that if you need help, simply ask. Continue to seek it. There's nothing wrong about it and it certainly isn't a weakness, but a strength.
The true healing will occur over time. There may be moments where you are overwhelmed with emotion; ride that wave, but do not let it crash your life down. Put your focus on yourself, right now. Later if you are able to do so, help others. It will ease the healing process. Keep reaching out for help if you need it.
We are here for you, in this small digital space. In the meantime, spend as much time as you can remembering good memories, and if you need to feel some emotion, by all means feel it to it's fullest. Take as much time as you need to process this moment in your life.
Sorry for your loss. I lost my father a few years ago to cancer and he was still quite young. I would reach out for some professional help. It really helped me.
Sorry for your loss. As others have mentioned, consulting with grief counseling can be a productive way to address those heavy feelings. You don't have to carry that weight by yourself 😉 best wishes.

I'm really sorry for your loss, I really wish you and you family the best. It may sound weird, but it's ok to lose it. Grieve him and take your time to process all of this.
