Ratchet and Clank looks gorgeous. It seems to be a reboot as much as it is a remake.

It looks awesome. But I wish they would've saved the reveal for e3.

Seriously, can everybody please stop announcing prematurely.

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.

Cool, hope I can get a PS4 by then. Also, I have a bad feeling E3 won't be special this year.

@cookiex, I don't think they'll announce Pokken Tournament for the Wii U. I think we'll just get an announcement that it's coming to arcades in the west, and in 2016, they'll announce a Wii U version.

It's so funny how no matter what Sony and Microsoft will show, like a million multiplatform games, somehow Nintendo's Direct will be more fun, exciting and bring you a smile to your face even if it's just a couple of new reveals, but.. Nintendo quality reveals. It's enough for me. It's magic.

Are japanese developers trying to 1-up E3 or something by revealing the surprises beforehand?

E3 is becoming like Black Friday. Spreading far beyond its official dates.

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

The fact that Hyrule Warriors 3DS comes with all the DLC kinda bothers me... Not really fair to the Wii U owners who supported the game.

And I really hope this means Kid Icarus: Uprising HD is happening.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

If they continue like this, half of the companies are out of games by the time their conference begins.

True and the Nintendo people really want to give the impression that they wanna have a good time with the fans.

if nintendo doesnt announce something interesting for me at this e3, the 3DS will be dead for me. but i won't sell it, cause i have many games for it that i wanna transfer when a new handheld is coming. i also still use my 3DS for some older games. and i can always dip into the DS-library

Is there anything that points to this happening? I don't think there's any port/remake I'd want more than that!
KI:U was fantastic.

I am the only one that wants Retro to finish the DKCR trilogy.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

iKhan

Post your worst case scenario for Nintendo's Digital Event (assuming that it's reasonable length, and the expected developers do reveal SOMETHING)

Mine:
Mario Maker is a the big Winter 2015 release
The Smash Direct is ONLY about Lucas and the Miiverse stage
The Tantalus port is just Terraria
Nintendo announces the same pricing system for FE-if as in Japan
Retro's "big game" is DKCR3
Next Level's "big game" is Mario Strikers 3
XCX is delayed to spring 2016
Project Giant Robot and Project Guard are both rolled into Star Fox.
Star Fox Episode 1 releases this fall, but the two "Project" games are part of Episode 2, which is set for Summer 2016.
Project Treasure has an evil pricing structure
Hyrule Warriors and Rhythm Heaven are the two "unannounced" 3DS Games.
Happy Home Designer is considered a full retail game.

I think if this would make me cry.

@iKhan Wasn't Mario Maker confirmed for September after Zelda was delayed?

Yeah, but isn't Nintendo pretty willing to delay things?

Yeah, but isn't Nintendo pretty willing to delay things?

But that would mean whatever was meant to be the big holiday title in between Zelda U's delay and Mario Maker's theoretical delay got delayed too.

I'm saying, in this worst case scenario, Mario Maker IS the big holiday title.

And I'm saying that for this worst case scenario to make sense given the circumstances Nintendo would have had the intention to have another title as the big holiday release - as Mario Maker's September window was announced after Zelda U's delay - and whatever that was got delayed too.
