With Muppets and Star Fox at first, it looked promising...then it went pretty mehish...at least there is two more Zelda games to look forward to and a Metroid, interested in Mario Maker but that had so much show time =w=
Not as bad as 2008, but this was pretty bad. Mario & Luigi Paper Jam caught me by surprise - kill two birds with one stone I guess. Also, people asked for Metroid, they got Metroid. Not the one we want though.
Also, can I say CALLED IT on Retro not showing up?
Well that was brutal!!! I feel like Nintendo took the lame horse behind the shed and shot it! No Pokken, 3rd party support, no Retro or next level games. BRUTAL. Worse than the Wii Music year!
Metroid: Federation Force and Blast Ball are by Next Level.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
I think it was okay, better then I expected (but I expected very little). The puppets part was fun, better then Robo-chicken. As for the games:
Starfox Zero: Yup, its a traditional Starfox alright. With changing vehicles on the fly, and the return of the Starfox 2 mech. Could be fun, but very weak graphics. And sadly also some old levels from the looks of it.
Skylanders chargers: Looks fun actually, but I am Antiibo (and anti Sklylanders). So its a no.
Zelda Triforce heroes: A new handheld Zelda, planned for this year! But its a modern Four swords, in the style of Albw. Not entirely sure about it. Could be a dumped down affair, and looks very casual. Like a Mii game. But the tower mechanic and the different suits (wich give you apparently different abilities) may be fun. But as I said before it looks to much like a social game instead of a good Zelda.
Metroid prime federation force: What the?! Another multiplayer game?! I don't know, doesn't look like the Metroid I would have wanted.
Yoshi's wooly world: October?! I guess that's a wrong date, its supposed to arrive next week!
Animal crossing Amiibo festival: Ah, this is just plain nonsense. It looks like a Mario-party without any gameplay!
Mario tennis Smash tour: Its Mario tennis. Might be fun, but nothing special.
Mario and luigi/ Paper mario cross-over: Told you there would be a new Mario and Luigi, but I didn't expect this! Doesn't look to remarkable to be honest.
That's all. I guess Retro's next project will be on the NX (or the Metroid 3DS game may be their work). But Metroid 3DS could also be Next level games work.
I feel like Nintendo played it waaaaay too safe.
Don't know if that's because they didn't have anything else, or they purposefully chose this line up.
Either way, underwhelming.
Surely this means Devil's Third has been axed? Considering it was 'nearly finished' last E3 and now nothing? Not even a release date? Something seems wrong, there.
Star Fox looks like a Wii port, I understand the Wii U can't handle PS4/Xbox graphics, but have you seen those textures? That's not really a pretty game.
What are you talking about? Are you looking at the treehouse event? It looks sleek.
