Chrono_Cross: Why would you think that you'd look like an a** Besides...you're in the proper place to do it. Also, if this fills a need in this forum, then I think that's awsome. Thanks.
Personally, I think it's interesting hearing what tick's people off about games. It's cool to see others feel the same way about some games. Not to mention, it could help some people to see if a game is one that might really tick THEM off.
Also when I made this thread, I guess I was using it to vent, myself. I am pretty happy though to see that I seemed to have made a somewhat popular thread too.
annoying game ? Jak 2 on PS2. it made me throw my gamepad on the wall !
star ocean 3 on the hardest difficulty. insanity made to make you kill. you really wanna kill anything around you while playing this #$@%@#@$#@!?%# crap%#$%fu$k%?%#as$%&?%$shi$%?% of a game. at normal difficulty, this game is excellent by the way.
I found Star Ocean 3 to be disappointing in pretty much every area, it still ticks me off thinking about it. As for Jak 2, let me guess the vehicle missions?
Because from my general observations, it seems to have turned into another area for people to hate on good games, instead of just talking about parts that made them frustrated.(not that I get much joy out of that, either) Maybe it's just my imagination, maybe I just read too many of Waveboy's posts. I dunno. I just know that I no longer have the aptittude to read this thread.

Pretty much every game frustrates me at some point. The vehicle missions of Jak 2, the final boss of Tales of Vesperia (not to mention Estelle's Healing AI), The camera in Devil May Cry 1, The later levels of Super Mario 64 (Rainbow Road blows my top every time). I could go on and on, but I don't really feel like it.
games in arcades annoy the heck out of me. they`re over priced, too difficult, and / or the timers are set way too short to be able to enjoy them. i know that the people who run arcades are there to make money on what can be considerd as an expensive business to run. but, i`m not expecting the games to be so easy that i could play the game through on one credit, it would be nice to be able to get a few races and beat up the bad guy with out feeling cheated out of my money before i loose. there`s never going to be a line of people waiting to get on a game because nobody gets the chance to play for long enough. and there`s a difference between fair play and being ripped off, and i hate being ripped off. if the arcade managers feel it`s ok to rip off people, then nobody is going to go to arcades. and i feel it`s because of this that they are so few and far between nowa a days. they`re the ones to blame when the arcade industry eventually becomes a thing of the past, not the people who play the arcade games. infact, the people who make the arcade games should take out the or tone down the difficulty settings so arcade managements can`t abuse it.
@Mickeymac: Ok. I'll have to look through the posts again and see if I notice this too. Anyways, sorry you feel that way. Of course you could always ignore the ones that bother you Anyways...thanks for responding.
Tekken....Hands down my most hated fighting franchise, for some odd reason the experience feels so lifeless, depressing and robotic.
I dont know Tekken has always been one of my favorite fighting game series right behind SF and MK. The game play had a more realistic feeling than SF or MK but to each their own.

It's just unbelievably stupid in every imaginable and unimaginable thought possible.
I agree, I hate that game. Infinite space comes to mind and that terrible game was the only one I got for Christmas last year. At least I got two nintendo points cards then too, to buy better games. It tries and fails to explain things well to you, it has awful difficulty and learning curves and there a other annoying flaws. For example, I got to a point in the game where I couldn't progress unless I started the whole game over again. This happened after I accepted a mission where you had to fight some powerful enemies that ambush you before a boss. After two weeks of trying to get through this, I realized that I needed to either be a higher level, get a better ship/more crew members or both but after you accept that mission the game doesn't allow you to go anywhere apart from the planet where you accepted the mission and the areas that you need to go to for that mission and I had saved after accepting the mission and before attempting it so I was screwed.
Boost Guardian (Echoes) Getsis (Black/White, at least his music is awesome) Alatreon (every team I go with sucks or has one player that keeps dying) The random "instant kill" moments in Other M...oh right, and the pixel finding things. Some of them are okay, but...ugh...(and the last one wasn't really necessary)

Pokemon Black and White's Battle Subway. The CPUs have impossible-to-attain stats and they know all of your Pokemon's weaknesses beforehand, so they are, essentially, cheating.
Super Smash Bros Brawl Reason: The mechanics generally do not work the way they're suppose to. With so many variables because of the items, levels and character, it's clear the polish isn't there to make sure everything connects like it should. You get a flawed product that generally robs you constantly, or favours you, there's no middle ground.
i totally disagree. smash brothers serie are some of the most polished and finished product ive played. items are made to be a mess, disable them if you hate them. in brawl, the only un-polished thing i found is meta-knight beeing one crank stronger than other characters. esle than this, every character is super balanced

Jak 2 made me frustrate in a lot of areas. LOT. thats why i mention it it first without any after thought. vehicle missions. clock missions. the city itself gets on your nerve fast. some story missions annoyed me too much to even care finishing the game. i watched the cutscenes on youtube and go to the third installment. i especially hated the fact that some missions required a near perfect course, or a near perfect patern of shooting, running, jumping. whatever. i hate it.it pissed me at high degree
star ocean, far from the second story of course, was fun to play almost only for the killer battle system. the story had its very cheesy moments hahaha normal mode, i did it twice ! the hardest mode, i passed a week to simply just finish the first dungeon. level grinding is chaos, i cant say how many tiems i had to start all over again the last half hours. how many times i was almost dead and had to run all the dungeon to town just to heal. how a simple monster can turn to be harder than the final boss on normal mode. harder than the secret boss from the labirynth itself !
I loveMetroid Prime 2: Echoes, but I hate it when playing on Hard difficulty. The reason being that I've never been able to beat the semi-final boss, which causes me to quit out of frustration after a few tries. I can manage to get to its final form, but from there it all goes downhill (even if I have most of my energy tanks), with most of my shots ending up blocked by either its huge legs or by its mouth closing right as my precious charged shots reach it...
This is on the GameCube version, by the way. I do wonder whether the pointer controls would make the fight easier, but I've yet to muster up the motivation to beat the game on my copy of Trilogy to unlock Hyper mode, only to have to run through it again...
@BellGoRiiing: Agreed, the Boost Guardian is another Echoes boss battle that is very frustrating, especially on Hard...
