Topic: Games That Pi** You Off!

Well right now Megaman Zero 2 is really pi**ing me off! Don't get me wrong I LOVE this game, but the final level is BULL. After you're done re-fighting 6 bosses you have to go through this area COVERED in spikes and jump from latter to latter then you go to the final boss who-like any megaman game-has 2 forms. His attacks are pretty annoying. If you die you got to do the whole level again. I've gone up against him 6 times now and replayed the level at least 10 times. I can't believe I beat this game when I was 9/10.

Super Smash Bros Brawl
Reason: The mechanics generally do not work the way they're suppose to. With so many variables because of the items, levels and character, it's clear the polish isn't there to make sure everything connects like it should. You get a flawed product that generally robs you constantly, or favours you, there's no middle ground.

I like MK in theory, but the combos are brutally unforgiving
And I've got nerve damage in my left hand (hits my thumb especially hard), so my joint locks up once and suddenly I'm on the wrong end of a 40 hit combo
And the one on the DS was insane. I was rocking faces off online, but I couldn't get 3 fights into the campaign on normal difficulty because the AI was so punishing

One reason that RPGs are good is that if you're getting whipped, just level up more, get better items and such. Plus it's not like when someone is beating you to death in a fight where, at times, you can't get a hit in edgewise. You actually get your turn in a turn base RPG.

You know you can save, right? And you don't lose level-ups, so it's really not that bad.

Jak II. Some missions are pretty hard and if you lose then you start from the beginning.

Any shooter online... dieing by some cheap weapon annoys the hell out of me, same with fighters to be honest, I hate it when they spam attacks at you. MKWii too, god that game annoyed me, the extra 4 races and tonnes of items annoyed me to fits of rage.

Rayman too, especially Rayman 3D on those plum things, I have to shoot myself over LAVA and half of the time I fall in, not too bad once or twice, but after that it really does take self control not to throw your 3DS at a wall.

I thought it was impossible to beat it 100% but I did and sold it the second I saw there was... well a Mirror Mode...

Yeah... I think MKWII like's to hit me with lightning and such, right when I'm jumping over a chasm (or about to). _{It's like it knows.}

Surprisingly I did not get frustrating much at all with this game.
Even when trying to collect all the goodies, I just had fun no matter what stage I played. Even when I did terrible, I shrugged it off and kept trying, which is REALLY uncommon for me. Usually I take a break and then cautiously come back.
Retro Studios really got this right....

Yeah, the Megaman Zero series is pretty much an exercise of memorization. However, I was able to finish off the final boss of MMZ2's second form on my second/third try. It was very strange...but quite awesome.

Yeah... took me about a week, harder than NSMBWii though, thank god. Finished NSMB two days after launch, never touched it since.

There were times when I truly believed that Mario Kart Wii was rigged when you start to get towards the end of the 150cc races it gets very frustrating trying to unlock things. After I finally unlocked everything I didn't play the game for the longest time I was ready to break it lol.

Yeah, I can usually beat a boss real easy on the third try because I have their patterns memorized by then. This final guy is a jerk though. I like the story so far though so I have no problem continuing with the game. I've beaten the guy before so I'm not going to claw my eyes out yet.

Any password GBA game. For ex: "Yes I beat the level! (Quickly presses A button to go to next level and completely misses password page) Playing Game Damn! I died! Well at least it saved-. DAMN!"
I also hate clones of games. And all Professor Layton games.
