I had given up on ever procuring a brand new copy of this or the HeartGold/SoulSilver soundtracks, so I've sprung for the (far cheaper, but inferior) iTunes releases, and I would usually never buy a complete album digitally when a physical option is available, but I refuse to pay the typical asking prices for used copies.

I get that a lot of people didn't care for FFXIV: Stormblood, but the main theme is a gem. I love it.

Mind of a thief from mother 3 is one of my all time favorite pieces of music (“real music” included) despite the crappy sound of the gba

@Finntendo64 I love Mother 3's soundtrack so much. Every song is just a classic.

Daemon X Machina was a... pretty disappointing game, but I love the hangar theme.

@StarPoint speaking of great underrated rpgs I actually have some more songs I like
Duet and worlds end valentine from OMORI are two that come to mind
And Transcending, Overpowering, Everlasting from bug fables is one heck of a final boss theme

I give constant praise to Bravely Default's soundtrack but here's one I can play on loop and never get tired of:

I always go back and forth from Gusty Garden Galaxy and Space Junk Road from Mario Galaxy. I think for now I like Space Junk Road more, though. It's just a beautiful composition through and through.

@StarPoint If there's ever a song that I adore from SMG that no one talks about, its the Star Festival theme. There's something so whimsically magical about it at the beginning before it takes on the whole new meaning of a journey's end after 100%ing everything. I've 100% Galaxy twice at this point and I'm always excited to come back full circle and hear this masterpiece again.

@Fizza ah yeah that's one's a banger too. I mean to be fair they're all bangers though. SMG in my opinion has the best soundtrack ever
