I thought I would put something a little in the holiday spirit on here. This is the origin of the super popular spoof on the jingle bells song.
I love that episode. A friend of mine actually has an original animation cell of Joker from that ep. Cost him quite a pretty penny, as you might imagine.
But that's not at all the origin of the the Batman spoof of "Jingle Bells". That's been around for FAAAAAAAAAAAR longer.

I'm still wondering how the heck the Joker put a rocket in the Christmas Tree. I love the animated series

[quote=Jeremyx7]@HawkeyeWii hahaha I love that scene, I have the entire 'complete animated batman series' on DVD, and never get tired of Mark Hamill's performances!
I have a video for you all relating to Bane & Batman.....enjoy!
Haha me too! I'm actually watching that Christmas one right now. It is by far my favorite cartoon ever! Haha the bane nutrition tips hahaha
Christian Bale is the best Batman and Heathe Ledger is the best joker. (yes I did see the 1989 Batman)
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill say hello.
(Though for the character-style of Joker that was in TDK, i may have to agree on Ledger. Hamill i think was the best overall Joker.)
Yes by far Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill were the best voice. No one will ever, ever have a better joker voice than Hamill and his hysterically sadistic laugh!
I agree. Conroy and Hamill where the best voices and quite honestly I could have seen Hamill take the reigns of the live action Joker if Nolan would have used the Joker again. As far as live action goes Ledger was the best Joker IMO but for Batman I will always prefer Michael Keaton.

@Tasuki: Back when Dark Knight and the Joker being the villain was originally announced, I was really really hoping for Hamill! I think Keaton was by far the best of the 90's.... which isn't hard to do.
This is the newest cartoon announced to start in Spring of 2013. It is supposed to take place of Batman: The Brave and The Bold.
I don't particularly like the art style, but maybe it might end up different considering this is an early poster.

I looks like it's headed for a Transformers Prime (absolute evil rendition that should be burned and the creators hanged, ok maybe the last one was a slight exaggeration, maybe a life sentance instead) although admittedly I never have seen tha brave and the bold it looks like it won't be very good like Transfomers animated was and I I've only seen some of Batman I liked what I saw and had to record some onto my DVR after watching the joker jingle bells clip. This stuff is never as good as it used to be though. espcially Transformers though.

Nope I am afraid that is the art style there are going with. For some reason none of the animated series since BTAS have been able to keep my attention. I didnt care for The Batman and Batman: The Brave and the Bold was ok. Thankfully I have every season of BTAS on DVD so if I want a animated Batman I will just watch those.
Yeah, i also haven't been all that interested in any of the animated Batman series since TAS (not counting Batman Beyond, of course). Brave and the Bold was fun, but that was about it. I watched The Batman, but i didn't really enjoy it at all. Thankfully i too have TAS on dvd. Also, if anyone wasn't aware, TheHub shows TAS regularly (a few times every day, i think).
@Jaz007: You said you haven't seen much of TAS. This is hardly an opinion lol, it's pretty much a fact. Well it is pretty much the greatest cartoon achievement in the history of the universe. I still think TAS is the best interpretation of Bats, outside of comics. I have all 4 volumes as well. I haven't watched much of 3 and none of 4, even though I have had them for about a year now.
Batman Beyond was so awesome. Got that whole series on dvd too (i actually bought a bootleg set of the episodes recorded from tv quite a few years before it was officially released).
Funny random BB thing — Terry McGinnis (Batman Beyond) was voiced by Will Friedle, who some may also remember as the older brother Eric from "Boy Meets World". I happened to catch an episode of BMW the other day where Eric was hitting on a girl, making up outrageous lies, and his final line to her was "I'm Batman!" Little did he know that just a few years later, he WOULD be Batman!

He also did Blue Beetle's voice in Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Lion-O in the new Thundercats series as well as a bunch of others.

So what does everyone think of Death of the family so far?
Thank you for bringing that up! I just got the 3rd issue in the series and I think this is one of the most amazing batman story archs I have ever read! I'm starting to like it more than the Court of Owls. The joker is sooo sadistic holy cow! I like how he is kinda like leather face haha @Sony_70 what do you think of it so far?
So who here thinks that the rumor of Joseph Gordon-Levitt being Batman for the JL movie is true? Myself hopefully due to the way TDKR ended I think he would make a better Nightwing than Batman and honestly having yet another actor portray Batman kinda makes me uninterested. But I would love to see a live action Nightwing.
