What type of game and how good is it?

It's first person like Strange Journey, and it's damn near unplayable in Japanese. You'll have to wait for the reviews on this one.

Hey, as long as this comes out west, Atlus can remake as many old SMT games as they like.

Believe me man, Soul Hackers is one of the best SMT games out there. Sadly....only in japanese.

Does anyone know if a confirmed release date has been announced for Etrain Odyssey 4 yet?!

I guess this question would be aimed at Mickeymac! I think you posted about it a while back but I can't remember if it was a confirmed date of not

It's still 2 months before it comes out in Japan. We'll probably hear about it at E3, though. It's the only game we know of that they have to announce (ok, that and Soul Hackers) if they're gonna announce anything at all.

I guess ill get the email when they announce it! Really looking forward to this one. The first atlus 3ds game built from the ground up! Can't wait. Thanks Mac!

Hoping A Soul Hackers localization is on the way. Haven't played a SMT game before but that and Persona 4: Golden look cool.

If you like Soul Hackers, you should check out Strange Journey. It's a bit similar and really good, IMO.

I LOVE the Trauma Center games! Come to think of it, that would have to be my wish for E3 (in regards to that other thread here). If Atlus made Trauma Center for Wii U, my interest for the console as a whole would skyrocket! I'm not making this up.

Oukd happen. But I'm pretty sure the tramua series is dead in the water and had its run. If they were to make a new one take the Tramua Team formula and mash it with the conversation mechanics from the persona games so its like your really playing Grey's anaomty.

I'm just hoping for some more traditional RPG for 3DS. Was pissed lumionus arc 3 never came over.

Edit: also hoping atlus jumps on the eshop train as I want robopon and demikids.

I hope so, too, even though I already got all their GBA games except Robopon 2. We also need Summon Night and Super Robot Taisen on there. The GBA's hidden gems, they were.

Shin Megami Tensei IV Coming to the 3DS. Which unfortunately means Strange Journey really was a side game.

The main series SMT games generally don't interest me but if this one isn't first person and doesn't have you siding with the devil then I might get it.

It'll probably use Etrian Odyssey IV's engine, so I can guarantee you that it'll be first person, and it wouldn't be SMT if it didn't give you the option to side with the devil.

@Mickeymac In SMTIII, its not an option though and God seems like a villain in the first two even though siding with him or the devil are options but AFAIK, in Devil survivor, God isn't made to seem as villainous. I may be wrong about that though.

Last I checked, in Noctorne, you are the God/Devil.
