Yep, Radiant Historia sounds like a great little game. The time travel mechanic sounds awesome. The sprite work is on par with 16/32-bit era JRPGs which is really... endearing. The character art is impressive too. I can handle JRPG cliches as long as they don't define the story in its entirety. Definitely going to pick up this baby when I can.
I'm finding out if there is anyone who is currently working up a review. If nobody is then I will indeed write one up, but it will be a few weeks before I can get it in, played through and written up.
I plan on completing the Atlus DS games reviewed here on Nlife, but that is going to take me a long time to do.
3DS Atlus games will indeed be getting reviewed here at NLife!

Awesome! ! Thanks slapshot. We all know atlus games are time consuming.
Just a bit, I seriously don't think I will see the end credits on Etrian Odyssey 3 before I write the review on it Lol, but I think the fact that I'm still playing the game is testament to how great of a game it truly is.
OK so my game informer arrived yesterday and I looked up the scores. Radiant Historia received a 8.75. Here's a quoit from the last paragraph
"Many titles have tried to capitalize on gamers' nostalgia for the 16 bit era, but most end up feeling like hollow and archaic imitation. Radiant Historia succeeds where those attempts fail; it is an inventive role-playing game that delivers the sensation of playing one of your old favorites for the first time."
I for one can't wait to be sent back to 1990 again! It was when rpgs were at there best for me.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I am looking forward to this one. I'd like to get it Day 1. I do fear it will kick my a$$ though. I love Etrian Odyssey 3 but had to give it up for a while as dying so often was bringing me down.

Don't worry. It has nothing to do with that series. If its as old school as they say it should be a fun trek through. I'm not expecting something nearly as hard as etrain Odyssey.

No sorry you actually got farther then me. I just get into a new game sometimes and leave the old behind. I will someday get back into it. Just hope I don't have to restart because I forgot what to do.

If its that much of a problem go to the atlus forms and post a question or look up some strategy online. No reason why one monster should keep you from enjoying the rest of the game.
Edit: ok so maybe not just one monster more like 10 to 20 lol!!
