Was going through my. Book shelf wjen i found two issues of nintendo power. My last suscriber issue which featured zelda spirt tracks on the cover and the dragon quest 9 issue from last year. So with getting a 3ds im thinking resucribing to the magazine. Used to read it for a good while back in the day starting with around the firered leafgreen games. Going through those two issues it reminded me how much i enjooy looking at games in the magazine format. So i was wondering any nintenolifer's still got the magazine and would it be a good buy.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo Power are the first ones to have their reviews in for games that are weeks away from being released compared to the internet which usually throw down their reviews the day before the game is released, which automaticaly makes NP appealing.
That just means they're playing unfinished builds. What's so appealing about that?

Or maybe they get early review copies. ONM in the UK get review copies of some big games really early like Super Mario galaxy 2, The legend of Zelda: the spirit tracks, Pokemon heartgold & soulsilver etc.

They are getting early review copies. The game is finished before it's on store shelves, you know. O_O Seriously, sometimes stores actually have a game a week before its release date but aren't allowed to sell it etcetera. It's not like the game is finished and shipped out the same day. e_e

I still read NP. Not much logical reasoning behind it. It's just good toilet reading.

No. I'm not subscribed to any magazines, as a matter of fact. The Internet does that for me.

Yup. I've accidentally let my subscription run out and need to re-up, but I still read. Have off and on from the beginning. Got the first issue I think it was August 1988 and was a subscriber the first 3 years it was around. Friggin LOVED the controversially gruesome Castlevania II: Simon's Quest cover of issue 2! What an AWESOME night for a curse!!!
