I am! Probably more of a Kirby fan than I should be. XD
Picking a favorite is hard, but I'm gonna go with Return to Dreamland. It was the first mainseries game I played (and second overall, after Epic Yarn, which is amazing). To me, Return to Dreamland is the complete package. It offers the core series gameplay, an amazing soundtrack, and brought in four player play, which is way more tolerable than Mario could ever dream.
While I'm here, I'm really hoping HAL is working on a 3D Kirby game for Switch. We've waited so long for it, and if Blowout Blast was meant to serve as somewhat of a very early beta for a 3D game, I'm interested to see where they could take it.
You could consider me more of a casual fan. Don't keep up with Kirby with each release, but I do like playing the few games I do play. My favorite would be Nightmare in Dreamland and Kirby Super Star.
Return to Dreamland is a great game, I really love that one!
I did beat Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn a little while ago, it is a really amazing game.
I agree with every word you said!
A 3D Kirby game....Yes please!!! I would buy it on the release day!! Maybe Blowout Blast was a early beta kind of game, it would be awesome if they will release a 3D Kirby game.
Kirby Super Star is my all time favorite Kirby game, I’ve played it many times! I’m trying to beat Nightmare in Dreamland now, 100% it is!
Admittedly, I'm not as big into Kirby as I used to be, but I still like it. Kirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby 64, and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land are my favorite ones. I liked Epic Yarn and Return to Dream Land too.
@Poyo_Girl_1994 I recently replayed NiDL not too long ago! I beat it too, though I wasn't really going for 100%, just as much hidden switches as I could find.
I am smitten with Kirby and the Kirby-appeal that is poured into most Kirby games. My ringtone is a theme from a Kirby level.
I'm not sure I have a favourite Kirby game, it tends to just be the last game that I played. Currently that game is Extra Epic Yarn, which is fantastic and essential for 3DS owners.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Kirby's Adventure is the first game I ever beat and is my favorite. I've played and I think beaten every Kirby game released from Dreamland through Rainbow Curse, with the exception of 2 SNES and 2 Gameboy spinoff games. Love the series to death.
Also can't wait to find the time to get to Robobot. Kirby games almost never get hype like that one got from people, so I'm really curious to see exactly why. Especially after playing Triple Deluxe, probably the best non-spinoff Kirby game since Sakurai was still at Hal.
@Poyo_Girl_1994 Hope you can complete it 100% I don't think I ever did get 100%, but loved the single player mode, as well as the mini-games. A friend and I use to play the bomb rally mini-game a lot.
Kirby Super Star is always a good time. I use to play that game a lot, always had fun with the Dyna Blade and loved how Spring Breeze was just a console version of Dream Land. My brother owned Dream Land on Game Boy, so I played that too. I use to have Kirby's Pinball Land, but I have it downloaded to 3DS.
More recently, I play on and off the Kirby Clash games on Switch and 3DS.
@Sunsy I actually did complete it 100% when I was younger. I want to try it again, I hope I will be able to do that! I love Bomb Rally, I really like that mini-game!
Kirby Super Star is amazing, it is my favorite Kirby game of all time. I did play it a lot with my brother when we where younger. I did get it 100% on the Switch, I hope to get 100% on the DS version too someday, but that’s very hard!
I also have downloaded the Switch and 3DS versions of Kirby Clash, but I like the platform games more tbh.
@Poyo_Girl_1994 Yeah I enjoyed it! Plus it was the second Kirby game I played, after Kirby 64. I got very close to 100%ing KSSU, but the True Arena (I think that's what it's called, been a while since I played it) is insanely difficult.
I love kirby games, the original dreamland was the first gameboy game I owned, played it a ton! As for my favorite games, well Kirby's Adventure is a classic I never got tired of, so probably that. I also really enjoyed both triple deluxe and plabet robobot, 3DS was great for kirby.
