Topic: any game you like so much you own multiple copys

I own 2 copy of Pokemon platinum and one digital and one physical copy of animal crossing new leaf and I'm just wonder does anyone else do this?

Not intentionally. I have two copies of Paper Mario TTYD, Wind Waker with OOT inside, Skies of Arcadia Legends etc because I got given my uncle’s Cube games and I also already had my own copies.

On individual systems, I have Sonic the Hedgehog (the classic one) on Dreamcast, GameCube, GBA, DS, an old flip phone, Wii, and 3DS. I also own two copies of Sonic Battle on GBA for its multiplayer mode, played this when a friend came to visit a few years back.

I lost my original copy of White 2, so I bought a second one used. Then found the lost one. So I have two cartridges of that game.

There’s also several games that I own on multiple devices, like various Farming Simulators, different Final Fantasies, Minecraft, Plants vs Zombies, Stardew Valley, etc.

I have three ACNL games (2 Old version, 1 Welcome Amiibo), three LEGO CITY UNDERCOVER (Wii U, Switch & PS4), two Portal Knights (PS4, Switch), two Dragon Quest Builders 2 (PS4, Switch), two Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (PS4, Switch), two Super Mario Galaxy (Wii, Switch), two Go Vacation (Wii, Switch), two Para Para Paradise PS2.

Btw, do you have something Non-Pokemon things ?

That reminds me I also have two Paper Mario TTYD discs. Bought both used.

Neither worked on my wii. I’m still disappointed to this day.

I don't double-dip often. Some of the games on my SNES Classic are technically repeats since I own them on the 3DS or Wii U VC as well. I also have Twilight Princess on the Wii and the HD port on Wii U. Finally, I've bought SteamWorld Dig more than once. The game is sublime!

Every time it is released on anything (except mobile) I buy Chrono Trigger in hopes it will convince SE to make a new one. It hasn't worked yet.

@Anti-Matter I have a ps4 if that's what your asking but I'm not to sure what your asking however yes I have a Pokemon addiction but some other things I enjoy outside of Pokemon is kingdom hearts, fire emblem, persona, some Mario games, animal crossing, and some final fantasy but outside of games I like anime and manga OH and The World Ends with You favorite game of all time Its one game I own multiple of as well I own it both on ds and switch

I have the Ps2, Wii, Xbone (gave it away though), and 2 copies of the switch version. I do have duplicates of many of the dragon quests games because I prefer to play them in Japanese (still buy the English versions too). Same with the Ace Attorney series. I have a few duplicates of fighting games because I prefer to buy them digital when I can but keep physical copies for my game club.

Well, i'm kinda a little bit opposite.
I do have interest with Pokemon games but not really hyped.
I played my Pokemon games casually at least tried to finish the storyline.
I do have the spinoff as well (Pokepark 2, Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity)

But recently i got some hype with Yokai Watch 3 Tempura 3DS (I have more gameplay playtime accumulated from Yokai Watch 3 than every Pokemon games i have played) and i'm planning to get another Yokai Watch games despite only Japanese version (Sangokushi, Busters 2, Sushi + Sukiyaki, Yokai Watch Academy).

I can't even think of how many I've bought twice or even three times. I have several copy's of the 3D zelda games for basically everything they released on. RE 4 on Gamecube, Wii, PS2 and all the digital versions. If you counted all my Wii VC games i bought that's a whole lot more. I only do this if i really really love a game though.

Hell yeah. Breath of the Wild, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8 on both Wii U and Switch, Twilight Princess on Wii and Wii U, soon Skyward Sword and Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii and Switch, for some reason Undertale, Geometry Dash on Steam and Switch/Mobile.

I rebought many of my favorite SNES/N64 games when they came out on the Wii Virtual Console back in the day. One reason was because I didn't want to deal with continually reinserting my original cartridges if they don't boot up, lol. The other reason was so that I could have many of my favorite Nintendo games on what was their latest console, the Wii. I did the same thing for Super Mario Land 1 and 2 for pretty much the same reasons. I also rebought Donkey Kong for the Game Boy when that came out on the 3DS eShop, since I lost my original cart many years ago.

Though I still have Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, I went ahead and got the Switch versions of those games too, since I love those games and the Switch rereleases have some extra content. When Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker got on sale on the Switch eShop along with its DLC, I got that as well.

@Ryu_Niiyama I've had Okami on multiple systems too. PS2 & Wii that I never got around to playing - finally played it on Switch and think I might even have it in my Steam Library too. Weird thing is though, I've still got my Wii and PS2 but not the games - I guess they must've had decent trade-in values or something and figured I'd buy it again down the line on a different system.
