Thanks for all that info @RR529!
After watching the first episode I could tell everything was happening very quickly!
I really disliked how slow the original show was, but now I sorta miss that as this is moving way faster than I'm used too.
My only issue is that when I started the show a couple years ago, I watched dub as I wasn't into sub much then. And in the final act everyone has the same voice actors... Except Kagome. So that's really throwing me off D:
Yeah, I knew The Final Act had a few new English actors, but I haven't experienced them myself, as I watched it subbed on Hulu back when it was first releasing in 2009 & 2010.
I watched the original series dubbed though, back when it was first premiering on Adult Swim (and a few times after that).

Once again I got nothing to watch, up to date with One Piece once again, had other animes that started but didn't continue, just waiting for some animes to get a second season like Tokyo Ghoul =w=
I also watched some episode of the old Pokemon anime, the memories!
Ywach's vanguard is now revived & even more powerful than ever (in addition to gaining the life force of the Stern Ritter that were sacrificed for them, they also obtained their power, adding to their own)!
Stern Ritter "X" has seemingly defeated Oetsu easily (with the barriers set up by other Zero Division members being useless to protect him), Stern Ritter "C" easily dismantles the cage where the battle has been taking place, and Ywach himself appears in front of the lone member of the Zero Division who has yet to battle.
It looks like the forces of the Soul Society have noticed that the Soul Palace is in danger, however, as the current Captain Commander (the Hippie looking guy, I can't remember his name for the life of me) looks set to step into battle!
Also, I'm now up to chapter 260 in Ranma 1/2. Just finished up a story arc, that was actually long enough to be considered a story arc, and it was surprisingly serious (well, by Ranma standards).

Well, that's it. It's over.
RIP Naruto. It was a fantastic ride. The end of an Era.
The latest cover page of One Piece is Naruto themed, and the second to last page of Naruto has the Straw Hat logo on it. So good.
@RR529 ...you talkin' about the guy who looks like a buddist monk with a giant ink brush? Because I just read that whole chapter and...did not see a hippie-looking guy...
I found a decent Manga site with random button, so I'm gonna read the first two chapters of the first 3 manga that come up (assuming they're manga, and not 4-koma, Doujinshi, Manwa, etc.). Unless they're Yaoi, then I'm skipping it. This is dangerous enough as is...
Anyways, without further adoo~
Drumroll
And the first one is...Oto x Maho...a gender bender story.
Imma gonna need this...
EDIT: Aaand the verdict (of the first two chapters at least):
This has to be one of the most annoying things I've ever read. I'm still gonna need that brain bleach, but only because otherwise I'd be frothing about this all night. I'm very tempted to go in-depth, but I simply don't have the time, so I'll just say this: This manga has exactly one joke, and it based the entire story around that joke, running it straight into the ground by the end of the second chapter. That joke is one of the many jokes Ramna 1/2 ran into the ground ages before this manga ever came out - the dude has to become a (magical) girl against his will, and he is very uncomfortable about having to do girly things. And much like Ramna, the joke kinda fals flat because he looks the freakin' same when he transforms - literally the only difference is that his long hair now sports twintails, and he has to wear a very short skirt and tight spats...he doesn't even get boobs. At least Ramna got that part right (but seriously, a hair color change doesn't work when it's black and white...).
Anyways, on to the next one, which is...Crimson Grave.
This is actually really good, but the first chapter was really long, so I'll have to leave you with that for now, before I fall asleep on my keyboard...

No, I'm talking about the Captain that wears that kinda pink looking floral kimono over his Captain's outfit (the guy who beat Chad during the Soul Society arc, and always states how he'd rather talk & have a nice drink with his opponent, instead of fight).
He appeared briefly in this chapter, saying that he was going to have to leave the squad 1 HQ because the Soul Palace was in danger.

This actually sounds fun. Maybe I'll give it a whirl.
EDIT: First up is Ultra Red. It's listed as shounen/action/martial arts/sports... four genres which I have generally no interest in. >_>
So it pulls out every cliche in the book. MC is a country bumpkin who is ridiculously overpowered in martial arts. Moves to town where apparently the entire population is a martial artist(?) First person he meets is a kid who is inexplicably weak despite having a lifelong background in martial arts. And there's the standard local gang that seems to spend its time bullying small children and the MC takes them all out in like 3 seconds. Leader of the gang is (apparently) a junior high school student who looks 30 and is as ripped as Stallone in Rocky. Promises of vengeance exchanged, etc, etc. Approx. 70% of the dialogue is shouted.
And that's only the first chapter. What will happen next to the Judo Karate Sumo dojo (yes, really)?! I don't care.
Second chapter doubles down on the shouting as we meet the weak kid's dad, Roidrage McStrokerson, who looks like Josef Stalin.
Seriously though, this character is apparently like 13-14.
I read the first volume of Soul Eater NOT! It was ok, but a little too close to generic girly manga comedy. I kinda knew it was going in that direction to some degree but meh on execution so far.
I tried to get into Soul Eater NOT when the anime came out, but I just didn't find it that interesting or funny, which is sad since I felt Soul Eater had brilliant comedy...
Just got back from Nekocon 17 with my older brother, and we managed to get Rurouni Kenshin Vol.1 and Sailor Moon Vol. 4. (I believe?) I also had a autograph with Todd Haberkorn. (FYI, Todd is a English voice actor of Death the Kid, from the English dub of Soul Eater.)
Dragon Ball Z Kai - It's nice to finally see Goku back where he belongs! Yeah, I know they've shown Cooler's Revenge a couple times before, which was nice, but finally the real deal. This episode set things up, with the first real action probably hitting next week.
Naruto Shippuden - Naruto's crazy power has finally been subdued, and it looks everyone was right to distrust Sai, or were they?
One Piece - The finale of Robin's sad backstory, with everyone ready to kick butt at a moment's notice!
Gurren Lagann - First half of the episode was pretty much a bunch of mild fanservice (with Yoko, ironically, not wanting to go along with it), while the second half was filled with the awesome, over the top, fun action we've become accustomed to.
Hellsing Ultimate - WTF... Just seriously, WTF was this!? Alucard ended up being Dracula, which was one of the only things (scratch that, the ONE thing) that actually made sense in this entire series, but other than that, WTF? The Vatican ends up being just as evil as the f****** Nazis, with the main Vatican character turning into "something" (supposedly "holy", but there was nothing holy about that...) to kill Alucard, oh, and he succeeds! That's right, the main character dies, and the Nazis (you know, the a******* behind this whole thing) are forgotten about, and get to live! Yes, in the end the d*** Nazi gets what he wants. Seriously, how the h*** is that a way to end a show?
Also, they showed the promo for the premier of InuYasha: The Final Act tonight, which starts next week
