Ugh...I just added it all up...I will need AT LEAST $370 NOT INCLUDING my new Xbox 360 and it's games, and Wii Shop games.

Nah, I'm getting a 360. Mostly so I can play games with my brother and talk with him when he is at College.

Tell him to have fun there . That sum only includes stuff on my current wishlist, though. There are many games that are not on it right now

Pokémon Yellow wasn't based on Blue/Green and Red. The reason why Pokémon Yellow is similar to them is because:

Pokémon Yellow is based on the TV series. -> The TV Series is based on Pokémon Green and Red.

So unlike Crystal etc. Pokémon Yellow wasn't really a compilation edition. It had a very different story compared to Blue/Green and Red. Crystal etc. all have the almost exact same stories as the games they're based on. The official name of Pokémon Yellow even is "Pokémon Special Pikachu Edition". So it was a special edition

It started the tradition of the Crystal, Emerald and Platinum version. Yellow actually isn't really that different compared to the first versions if you compare it to later compilation versions. Platinum has much more differences in storyline compared to Diamond and Pearl than Yellow has compared to Red and Blue. The same goes for Crystal and Emerald.

Well we'll have to wait and see in the spring of 2010 to relive the Johto region. I like the Heart Gold version, but alreeady have the Ho-Oh and Lugia when I got them via Pokemon DX & Colloseum and migrated them to DS via Pal Park.

I'm getting SoulSilver. G/S/C was the best Pokemon trilogy by far, and didn't play silver as much as I did Gold. I owned it briefly at one time, but I got rid of it for some reason. And now that the game's internal clock doesn't run on a battery in the cartridge, I should actually be able to beat it this time!
