I say hold off a little longer. As it stands, DSiware has yet to be overly impressive. Also a price drop alongside the wii one is rumored. I say wait until sep 30, that way if it does drop, you can get the free 1000 points deal, and the console for cheaps.
Well heres my full explanation for PSP Vs. DSi! Heres for the PSP Go! or PSP-3000! 1. Games Like Little Big Planet, Patapon, and more that create a diverse library of games that are only one PSP. 2. The PSOne Classics that I can download on it. 3. High Quality Multi-Media. 4. The PSP Mini service looks great. 5. More Portable with everything being a download and just on the system. 6. I already own a DS Lite and this would be my first PSP! Here are my reasons for DSi and Flaws of PSP: 1. DSiWare has several interesting games to me, especially Shatae: Risky's Revenge and Mighty Flip Champs. 2. The Price of the PSP Go! is a little too high for my tastes (Though Money Isn't A Big Problem as either one I get will be a gift) 3. While there are good games on the PSP, there is still several limits to the lirbary of games availible for the PSP with most of what I would buy being RPG's (Which I have enough of on DS!) 4. The PSN Store dosen't have several of the PSP games that I would want if I got a Go! 5. I Trust Nintendo more in general as a game company. Well thats what I have, so can you all help me!
I'm getting near twice as much playtime out of my DSi (not battery-wise, gameplay). I love just scroooooooooooooooooooooooooolllling through my assortment of puzzle games, etc. I FREAKING LOVE MY DSi!!
It depends on how your secure your connection is, if it is the more secure connection, which is what I think you probably have you can get online to download games, but not play online with the DSi!
Im VERY dissapointed with my DSi. I still have my DS Lite and actually play it more than my DSi. The bigger screens are nice but the way the buttons click drives me crazy on the DSi. IT takes away the ease of pressing the buttons Im so used too on Nintendo platforms. It makes it very noticeable when you press buttons and pulls me away from the immersion on the games. DSiWare has a FEW nice additions to Nintendo library, but they are very shallow games due to the size limits and are overpriced compared to the same games being released on other systems. Im actually really considering selling my DSi. I feel like it was a $180 periphial instead of a portable console as I was buying it for the prospect of Nintendo cheap DSiWare game in the like of Mario, Zelda, Metroid old school games. But I dont think they will ever see light of day or a Game Boy VC so Im pretty much done with DSi.

All my News and Reviews in One convenient place!
It's hard convincing gamers who wanna upgrade because there aren't enough reasons to upgrade other than the cameras, the sound app and DSiWare. I will be keeping watch on PSPgo because I'm not really a fan of Sony but I do my part to be unbiased about other systems non-Nintendo.
As far as convincing you to upgrade to the DSi, I upgraded because my Phat was nearing its time and my Lite had hinge problems that drove me nuts. I would love to see the Big N hear us out on some of our ideas. More user interactivity could help them out a lot.
I'm guessing that the DSiWare games will have to do most of the talking and probably soon enough, the DSi-specific games! Well, there's a reason: DSi-specific games (not DSiWare!)
@metalmario your problem is your type of internet, ds only accepts WEP, the lowest security. The Dsi supports WPA-PSK2, the highest, however the games wont work no matter what, unless they are DSi exclusive..this is one of the things that made me be disappointed by my DSi
Golden Sun the Dark Dawn: Best game ever in the making? Yes it is
Well one thing that has me really going for DSi right now is Shatae 2! However my decision is almost made for which one I'm going to choose, and right now the DSi just needs one more push to get it to beat the PSP for what I'm getting. However I might also get a PS3 Slim for Christmas, so if I get a DSi too then I might put a little more attention to the PS3.
