Topic: Pokemon Black & White

It might just be me, but doesn't 648 look like an evolution to celebi?

Or the heartless from Kingdom Hearts invaded the Pokemon world.

Did anyone notice that the first pokemon in the new pokedex is a legendary and not a starter? I just thought that was kind of different...

I made up a Pokemon and evolution. The first one has very bad accuracy but can evolve if it levels up if it holds the item "Peripheral Vision".

And Grass started, I skipped the middle evolution cause it looks too similar.

Oh, I remember those days in middle school when we used to make up Pokemon. They were better than the Black/White ones too.

I'm in college and I still whip some up once in a while during math. They should have held a contest like Megaman 2 for Pokemon.

I've been playing the Japanese version over the past few days but it doesn't seem to have anything patricularly ground-breaking and the Pokémon designs are not really that great in many cases. Gameplay still rocks though. But the Gym Leaders are ridiculous pushovers. The Diamond/Pearl/Platinum versions had tricky movesets and strategy-ruining type combos. Here they often use pure single-type Pokémon that do not require the player to rethink the strategy. I've beaten 7 out of 8 Gym Leaders now and I only had a bit of trouble with the second one. The remaining one is a Dragon-type Gym, though, so that promises some tough battles. Let's see if I can get my hands on an Ice Beam TM in this game because I'm gonna need it. One purely cosmetic, but major improvement is the fact that the Pokémon are now fully animated during battles, making them much more dynamic and alive.

I love Pokemon but I barely got Heart Gold, I'm gonna wait for the third version.

I doubt they will make a third version.

After they've done one for every Generation? Sure I doubt too.

Pokemon Grey sounds dull though...

You know what, I saw a video of the final battle... music is too epic I'm getting Black now. Black is the main version right?

Only Heart Gold/Soul Silver so far.

Oh I thought you meant the third version of HG SS. In that case I do think they wii make a third version, but Pokemon Grey does seem dull in my opinion.

Who knows what it will be called. We got Platinum for Diamond and Pearl when people were already saying Topaz.

@Kaiser: Yeah it is, that's why I'm getting white. Everyone else in my town gets the first version(Red, Gold etc.) but I always get the second or third.

Maybe it will be Brown?

...Cobalt? Charcoal?
