what website do i go to so i see all the new Pokemon? all the ones I tried had the images blocked.

there are a few in there that look pretty cool... but overall they look very unimaginative. I will probably start with the water-otter-thing. (I usually start with fire, but this time.... no.)

I have to say that without having the game so I can't really pass too much judgement about it, one thing that I am quite disappointed by is the Fire starter. Three gens in a row its been Fire/Fighting I wanted to see some new combinations!

I love the design though. It's obviously a medieval-style jousting bug/metal thing with lances for arms. Very cool.

EDIT: And most of the new Pokemon look like a mad scientist made them by splicing genes one too many times. Look at that mushroom with the Poke ball symbol on it. I said earlier it's proof that they're all genetically engineered war machines built for storage in Poke balls.

The legendaries all look weird to me. In fact, a lot of the pokemon look like they should be enemies in some JRPG and not cute little monsters you'd want to keep in your pocket...

I still don't know why they feel they have to stick to some 'formula' for pokemon games. Every game just has to have 8 gym leaders, the elite four, a kid who catches 'em all/becomes the champion, and all of the other stuff that's always in there. They should act like FF and start from a clean slate. :3

Agreed, I've always wanted to play as the kid who couldn't beat Brock with his team of Charmander + Pidgey, got depressed and went home. He ended up becoming an accountant.

@zezhyrule. I was just thinking that, some look more like evil bad guys, not Pokémon. Some even look more like people or whatever.

I love this starter, but I hate the evolutions.

I'm hugely appreciative of the overload of interestingly-typed-with-the-Fire-type-type of Pokemon. Fire/Psychic, Fire/Ghost, Fire/Dragon... those three have always been dreams for me so...
