Look up the "snailfacia.net" website for the function guide for information on BUTTON and BTRIG, it's really helpful.

It is helpful. I wondered what VSYNC did because in Gladiators I had VSYNC 1 in the coding somewhere and had no idea what it did. Thanks for the site.

I have nothing really to say about myself.

Really helpful. I just learned subroutines.

I have nothing really to say about myself.

@Hairmanban19 I'm using your flower designs a lot! They're very nice! I even used the designs to make some that kinda dance.

Wiki ratings just make you want to work harder on your game :/

I don't have a 3DS so what do I put here? -Damolii

I don't know if you're talking to me or not, but they really do for me! I get so shocked that I just suddenly want to make more so people can actually enjoy my game! I like to see other people happy.

I'm trying to add a grass-like sprite, but the way my movement engine is set up, It will always be at the same coordinates as my other sprite, even if I change home coordinates I'm gonna have to do it with backgrounds, but I'm not so good as collision with background. Would you mind helping, Discostew???

@Morphtorok I added an easter egg for Petit Farm in the next Village update; I hope you don't mind. I named one of the character color palettes "Petit Farmer", since it's the same palette you used for the character in your game.

I think I'm going to place literal Easter Eggs in DA 2...If you find 'em, you should press A by them...it may do something...nice.

Awesome I'd love to have an easter egg in your game but... What palette would that be? The farmer starts out with one of 4-5 different palettes at random (my favorite is the one with the blue hair).

And... Another project update!

The river can't go into the outer walls now (which means it will always squirm from north to south without touching any wall) and a starter mini wooden house is generated in the forest to be the player's starting point. It's quite cute.

Now the player can pick up items with the y button. This makes it possible to pull up weeds, flowers, mushrooms and possibly furniture in the future and add them to the inventory. Weeds aren't added to the inventory but they can give seeds from time to time, which will be used to plant stuff... Like turnips... From weeds. Flowers can be replanted... Which I totally stole from you, @randomous! I hope you don't mind lol.

I also programmed the shovel! It's currently used for cutting down grass, making useless holes in the ground and expanding/destroying the river squares (which is probably its only important use!)... You may also notice I changed the graphics a bit.

That's all for today.

@Morphtorok I had no idea the palette was chosen randomly! It's the blue hair one though, so hopefully people will connect the dots... hopefully.

Lol did you steal the code or the concept? It's not like picking up flowers is something I came up with lol. If you stole the code, I'm impressed you were able to find all the necessary parts to make it work! I thought my code was all over the place; what with the property system and all. Honestly, take whatever you want lol.

Alright, now I will ask my question once more...
How do I make a proper main menu? I've printed the arrow for the scrolling but I can't figure out exactly how to animate to go up and down or select a certain piece of text and make that activate what it has to.
I feel like an absolute NOOB to this... I have so many questions...

I have nothing really to say about myself.

Eel

@randomous: not the code, just the idea of putting flowers in the ground and being able to pick them up and put them down again... For some reason I never thought of adding that before playing your game!

And for information in return for thanks, here's physics for objects and gravity that are pretty basic.
Gravity:
Y=Y+SYV(TH)
IF FL (TH) AND 2 THEN @SKIPGRAV
SYV(TH)=SYV(TH)+.1
IF SYV(TH>>2 THEN SYV(TH=2
@SKIPGRAV
Now physics-
RI=0
FOR TH=0 TO OBJ-1
X=SX(TH):Y=SY(TH)
SPOFS TH,X-XOFS,Y-YOFS
okay, there. Thanks for help whoever answers

No, just feeling noobish and don't want to ask for too much from anyone.

what sprites do you need

Some tree sprites,some torch and lantern sprites,some doors,and maybe you can make some other ones to detail areas more if you want.

I'm glad you like them(cause they're the good sprites i've made)... I can make some sprites for tall grass that you can cut down with your sword which would drop hearts or money every once in a while to make it more like Zelda!

I use bushes for that. Unfortunately, I don't have the money dropping programmed. I may just have it tell you if your gold increased with no sprite...hmm...or I'll use a sprite. lol
