I agree, and not only because it was almost impossible for me to get through it (though I did) because my shoulder buttons are so messed up.

The demo was kind of a mixed bag. The controls were a tad bit awkward, but I got the hang of it by the second playthrough. I wish the speed at which the brush screen comes up and down was faster, as it does seem to hinder the action a bit. The voice of your partner was also pretty annoying. I also wished we could've gotten a taste of the truly 3D segments of the game (ie Shinshu Field)

Though the demo was kind of meh, it did give me a few minutes of fun, and I'm sure the game will be excellent.

lol, glad someone else notices the controls...and yeah, the voices seem somewhat annoying compared to the console game. But anyways yeah, even though the demo wasn't all that great, we still need to play the actual game. we need to support it as much as possible, for the sake of having a 3DS sequel! xD

This, I found the controls very awkward to play with especially the d-pad.

It actually got decent reviews and I have say the demo was ok. Yeah the d-pad control felt a tad wierd but I loved the celestial brush stylus usage. Very intuitive. I've actually been revisitimg Okami recently out of interest, maybe that's why I took to this.

I didn't like the dynamic camera combat though
