Is this anything like the tunnel level in Throium Wars? Because that level was mind numbingly frustrating.

i never reached a tunnel level in thorium wars, i got fed up with that level where you need to protect some large spaceships and stopped playing :/

but this game looks and sounds similar to thorium wars... i think the music is better though.

Ok, I live in Europe, and it's not available on the DSiware service. What? Anybody else not get this one showing up?

What the hell? It is US :S
I should have checked here first, but stupid Gamefaqs said it was out in Europe on the 25th
Man, they suck ass with release dates

EDIT: Sure, now they change it on Gamefaqs. Seriously, though, I only heard about this release because I always filter the new releases to EU dates

edit: just make yourself a favor and set the controls to "buttons" and "inverted" before you start playing.

I agree regarding the inversion, but I've found the touchscreen controls to be very enjoyable. Analogous to the wheel in Mario Kart Wii, it makes the game less a matter of constant small tap-adjustments and more a matter of careful, smooth guiding. It's more difficult at first, but gives you the feeling of greater control once you get the hang of it.

Thanks abgar, great review! I don't know what's taking Nintendo Life so long to review something so simple. I think I'll download it. Thanks again.

It's sitting in the pipe, sometimes our editors get busy with, you know, life.

i just found a nice trick, if you pause and press select you can change the music.
there seem to be about 7 different tunes for you to play.

its pretty much a music box mode.
