Quick Q on how they work? I notice on nintendo's site that there are 3 that work for the game. One lets Kirby Dash without having to have 100 stars, one gives him 6 health bars instead of 4, and the other boost's dash speed and gives him a mask.
My Question is how they work, obviously you can't just leave them sitting on the controller so are they tap them in once and have those things forever? Can you only have one at a time? Do you need to do the ones you want per level and each time you want to use it? I guess I don't get how they work for the game.
Thanks in advance guys.
Amiibo figurines only need to be tapped once, when prompted.
In Kirby and the Rainbow Curse/Paintbrush, you can tap it once daily to attain power-ups, and you can also tap it once daily in Hyrule Warriors in order to receive bonuses of some kind (I'm not sure what these are as I haven't yet played that game).
In Super Smash Bros., you tap the amiibo to add it to the battle, and you will need to tap it again after battling to save any data to the figure (such as any increases in level, bonus gifts etc.).
With Mario Kart 8, once you tap the Kirby amiibo (in the amiibo sub-menu), the outfit is unlocked "forever", but only for that profile. You will need to tap it in separately if other profiles on your Wii U are to use the outfit.
