for the lenght: Alttp had 10 (or so) dungeons, right? Lets say that the sequel also has 10 dungeons (it won't be 20, that's unreasonable). Wouldn't this game be very short then, if it's so quick?!
Why would having "only" 10 dungeons make it short? From what I've played:
ALttP - 10 Dungeons TP - 9 Dungeons OoT - 9 Dungeons LADX - 8 Dungeons OoS - 8 Dungeons PH - either 7 or 8 Dungeons ST - 6 Dungeons MC - 6 Dungeons
Even if it only has 10 dungeons, that still puts it above most other Zelda games.

A Link to the Past had more like 20 Dungeons IIRC. Didn't they have separate Dark World and Light World dungeons, plus The Pyramid, Zelda's Palace, and the 3 starter levels?

For main dungeons the light world had 3 (where you got the pendants), & the dark world had 7 (where you rescued the descendants of the 7 wise men/sages), which totals 10.
The Dark Pyramid only consisted of the Ganon fight, so I don't really consider it a dungeon.
Other than that, it had a few mini dungeons, I suppose (all within the castle in the light world). The castle's dungeon (where Zelda is being held in the beginning), the sewer (behind the throne), & Anganhim's lair (the top of the castle). Since all these locations are in the same building, I guess you could count it as an 11th dungeon (albiet an unorthodox one).

Sort of. They had three Light World dungeons, Hyrule Castle, about 6 or so Dark World dungeons, the Pyramid of Power and in the GBA version, the Palace of the Four Sword.
Well, I was counting dungeons as more than just the ones where you progress the story. I'm looking at the Guide right now, and there's a bunch of stuff like Lake Hylia and Death Mountain Cave that you gotta go through to get certain items. I guess they're really just extentions of other dungeons, but still.
The Light World Pendant Dungeons (3)
The Dark World Crystal Dungeons (7)
The Dark World Tower (1)
If you count all the events in the castle, you have one more dungeon. Ten dungeons wouldn't make this a short game at all. Heck, Wind Waker only had 6 "true" dungeons. If you count the Forsaken Fortress, you have 7 or 8, depending on if you count the first visit. So ten dungeons will be plenty as long as there is stuff to do on the overworld.

Aonuma went on Miiverse to clarify how renting items will work in A Link Between Worlds:
“In Ravio’s shop, each of the items you can use in the game are on display from the beginning,” Aonuma confirms. He then goes on to elaborate: “The rental period for each item is unlimited, so you can rent them for as long as you’d like, but if Link falls during his adventure and it’s game over, the items will be returned to the shop. “
Aonuma continues, “If you want to continue playing, you’ll have to rent them again. After a while, you can eventually purchase the items, and once you do, you’ll be able to keep using them even if you game over. This may seem similar to the three day system in Majora’s Mask where all your items are lost when you reach the end of the third day, but you’ll be able to rent every item from the beginning if you can afford it.”
“So unlike past Zelda games, you won’t run into a scenario where you can’t do something because you need a certain item that won’t be available until later. I hope all of you will experiment with many different items and play as you like.”
Huh? I read the whole article twice, and I didn't see anything that even aludes to Majora's Mask 3D being in production. I thought Morphtorok was simply joking...
or its like, u get it at the beginning. But, if u dont get anything in dungeons, it seems worthless to do them. Maybe, ravio wants something in the dungeon, and in exchange he'll make an item available for sale
