Topic: What 3DS launch titles are you buying?

Damn, I was afraid something like that might happen. Now I really don't feel so bad about waiting a bit to hop on board.

I'm all for pointing out flaws, but which graphically magnificent DS games could the 3DS possibly tarnish? lol

Oh no, our mediocre looking games look SLIGHTLY less pretty. Not a large sacrifice.

I don't see what the guy in that video is complaining about. It looks fine to me.

You're not really going to notice in that video because you'd have to see the pixels up close, but if you've ever stretched GBC games on a GBA they just don't look as sharp as they do at their native resolution. They look a bit ghosted or blurred. It's probably not really horrible, and some people might actually prefer the softer look. There are other reasons to still play DS games on a DS though, such as battery life, D-pad placement, and start-up times.

Well, Pilotwings Resort is the one I'm definitely getting. And I'll pickup Steel Diver if I get an extra $30.

I am getting Super Street Fighter 4, Pilotwings, and maybe Nintendogs. And for those of you who haven't pre-ordered anything yet, pre-orders for the 3DS at Gamestop closed last week.

Preordered SSF4 yesterday. Can't wait to play it. Just 2 more weeks!!

SSIV, maybe LEGO Star Wars and Pilotwings. Ooh also possibly Monkey Ball.

Ive pre-ordered the console only. Rayman 2 on N64 was one of my favourite platforms so the 3DS version definitely interests me. Pilotwings resort or Madden are other possibilities. Yet these are all a maybe pile. The real deal has still yet to come.

I've decided just to get Ridge Racer.. I've gone off Pilotwings after the reviews (stating it's about 2-3 hours long in total and recycles most of the content from Wii Sports Resort). I might pick up a few more when they're cheaper but I don't want to buy sub par games, just for the sake of having something to play on the thing.

Instead, I think I'll pick up Radiant Historia and Dragon Quest VI for the old DS.

it's so hard, pay 45+30 dollars to get it shipped to me or wait and pay pretty much the same amount on a store near me (that means on the next city)

When I went to buy Pokemon White, guy who sold me the game said I was lucky to pre-order one because pre-orders were closing the next day (March 7th) . It could have just been for mine, or maybe they were going to run out of supply soon, but I thought all the GameStops follow the same agenda.

Just Asphalt and Pilotwings Reort for me. There's plenty to do with the 3D camera and AR games, and the VC should be available on day one, too.
